Moba Moses Basket

The Moses basket from Moba is ideal for your stylish nursery, available in a range of pastel colours. You can also get a coordinating liner and mattress to match.

The basket also comes in the new special edition Little Star for 2017, with a grey basket, and matching cotton jersey liner in white with grey stars.

The Moba basket is breathable, hygienic, anti-microbial, and hypoallergenic – and really handy too, as you can wipe it clean. It features more than 300 air holes, so no need to worry that your little one is getting enough air.

The Little Star bundle – with basket, liner, fitted sheet, and mattress – is available for £130.

The Moses basket is available for £99, with a rocking stand also available for £40. Colours include Tangerine, Raspberry, Snow, Apple, and Cornflower. Fitted sheets come in a variety of colours too, plus a range of lovely blankets – including very on-trend cloud designs.

Tested by Sophie Knight, from Lincolnshire, who's expecting her first baby.

I loved the Moba Moses basket on first impressions - it's super smart and stylish, but will easily fit into any nursery decor.

Our baby is due in two month's time, so we've still got a bit of decorating to do in the nursery - but I'm confident our new Moba will fit in with whatever design we decide upon.

It's stable and sturdy but also flexible and light - it will be great to move around the house to have baby in whichever room I'm in - it's not bulky or heavy to move at all.

The Little Star design is very stylish and cute, and right on trend - there are lots of other grey star designs for baby products around at the moment so it'll fit right in with some other stuff we've bought.

I can't wait for baby to arrive and to have a comfy nap in our Moba Moses basket - I will be back to update on its success once baby has tried it out!

2015 – Shortlisted for 'Best Cot, Crib or Moses Basket' Award!

The Moba Moses Basket is an uncomplicated, contemporary design that is easy to maintain and portable. It comes in a range of fun, versatile colours, with a liner and mattress although it doesn’t have a hood, which does make it less cosy but also less cluttered – depending on your taste. The basket is lightweight, hypoallergenic and can be wiped down to keep clean.

Some parents might find the product quite sterile whereas others will appreciate its modern appeal but all concede that it is expensive, especially for something that is used for only a few months.

2014 – Shortlisted for 'Best Cot, Crib or Moses Basket' Award!

The Moba Moses Basket is lightweight, practical and totally modern.  It’s a contemporary recreation of a traditional Moses basket – it doesn’t look as cosy but the material is breathable, easy to clean and once it’s done being a baby bed, the Moba makes a great ‘toy box’.

The mattress, which is included, is specially designed to help prevent overheating and it is also waterproof. Sheets and a cover need to be purchased separately, which is an added cost to an already expensive product.

The Moba is clever and versatile; it’s attractive in a nursery and can even be recycled after (hopefully many) years of use. Highly recommended!
