Testing the Maxi-Cosi Iora Air

Whilst aesthetics should not be a priority when choosing a co sleeper for your little one, I loved the design of this bed. From the faux wooden outer ring to the soft grey blue colour. From a practical point of view I really liked the following features: All round mesh making it much easier to see our little one from all angles and allowed the air to flow on those few warmer summer evenings we’ve had. Safety catches on the zip down section meant our two year old couldn’t undo it. The bars at the bottom (the middle section) easily twist round to create a rocker base rather than a firm base. Large storage basket at the bottom for all the essentials. As well as large sleeping area so plenty of room for your little one to grow. Mattress has its own built in protector cover which I really liked. Height adjustable to 5 different positions Easy to put up and take down. Comes with carry bag so could be used when traveling if necessary. Overall, a great design and good looking.

I would 100% recommend this Iora Air to other parents as I love how breathable the material is for the baby and how big it is. I love that you can adjust the height of the bed and also have it on an angle with babies head up. It comes with a little bag which is amazing for storage or if you have to travel with it. It's very strong and sturdy and I know my baby is very safe in there. It also has a very hand storage shelf underneath which makes it handy to grab thing as and when you need. As a mum who has a c section and is breastfeeding being about to attach his bed to my bed made our life a lot easier and he settles in the bed so well. It is so easy to clean also very helpful as having 2 toddlers with dirty hands I know I can keep it sanitised and clean for my new born.

This is a lovely comfortable co sleeper for baby to be next to you. The mattress is super soft and I loved that you could raise one side to help with reflux. It is very useful that you can adjust the height and use the rocking function too. It looks very good and is is full for travelling too. Definitely recommended.

We used it down stairs as a cot for the first few weeks. It was super handy as we got a sleepyhead pillow. This was great to support the baby whilst he was asleep. It fits lovely in the cot also the mesh sides made it easy for us to keep an eye on him. When he outgrew the Moses basket. We used it as a next to me in our bedroom. He seems to enjoy sleeping in it. I think because he can see us. He is very alert. He is 9 weeks old, I feel the product is definitely going to be good value for money as he still has lots of space to move and wiggle around.

This is definitely a comfortable cot/Moses basket and being able to have your baby beside you in bed is very handy at night. It was definitely helpful to be able to raise one side to help with colic and reflux. The underneath is very spacious and there is plenty of storage room for essentials. Definitely recommended.

Final thoughts

The Maxi-Cosi Iora Air makes night times much easier, with it placed next to you or secured to your bed, your baby will be by your side for the feeds, nappy changes and cuddles. The crib is lightweight and portable with hidden wheels, so can be taken downstairs or along with you on your travels as it folds down to a compact size and has a carry bag.

The Iora Air is adjustable so you can adjust the height of it to what suits you the best and has soothing rocking function, which can help settle your baby.

It also has mesh sides providing visibility and airflow for your baby's comfort, combined with a extra comfortable mattress. Plus it has a mesh storage basket below for the essentials, making them at easy reach.
