LittleLife Snuggle Pod

The Snuggle Pod by LittleLife is a fabulous travel product and is especially great for camping trips (sleepovers too)! It assembles in ten minutes, with no fuss (although the pump is a bit flimsy), and is super snugly and comfy. The fabric is good quality and washes easily but expect the whites to come out grey after a couple of washes – even with ‘colour run prevention’ sheets! The sleeping bag might also be too warm for winter but overall, a brilliant, well-made product that makes ‘out and about’ that much easier.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

We took this product out for an evening camping. My 2 year old thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in it. She loved the penguin backpack and was even more excited when she saw her bed was also a penguin - such a fun design. She seemed comfortable and warm enough throughout the night.

The snugglepod is so compact and simple to transport, saving a lot of room in the car. I was a little worried she wouldn't sleep with it not being her normal sleeping environment but she was so excited and absolutely LOVED getting into bed. Will definitely be taking the SnugglePod with us on our next camping adventure.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

We didn't really get on with the foot pump. I thought it was fantastic that there was one supplied but we really struggled to inflate it as the black nozzle kept popping off. My partner eventually used the car pump and it took all of 2 minutes. Maybe a better quality foot pump would be of more use.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I would most definitely recommend this product to anyone. I love how it neatly fits into a daysack making it easy to transport and compact, taking up very little room or boot space. My 2 year old seemed incredibly comfortable and was very happy to spend a night in the snuggle pod. The fun penguin design was also a huge hit. Being machine washable, it was very easy to clean too.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

As a military family we are forever packing the car up to visit relatives, it is so easy to pop the snuggle pod rucksack in the car rather than bulkier air beds, duvets and pillows. My 2 year old who refuses to nap will happily have an afternoon sleep in her SnugglePod on the living room floor.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The foot pump provided with the product was not great to use. The black valve constantly popped out whilst trying to inflate the air bed. I'm unsure as to whether this is a fault with this pump or the general quality.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow parent?

I really love this product and so does my child. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone with children. I have used it during a number of trips from sleeping in a bedroom to camping in a tent and whenever used, has proven itself to be great. The design is simple but effective and the pattern is appealing to my child. The fact that it deflates and folds into a bag is also great. My son loves the pod and it has been a struggle to keep him in his own bed.

How does this product make your life easier?

Bedtime is fun when using the pod as my child really wants to snuggle down in it. Because the deflated size is so compact, transporting this pod is easy and takes hardly any space in the boot of the car.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I would not change anything about this product but would consider being able to zip on another thicker layer for when it is cold.
