Comfortable and cute, this will be the perfect addition to your baby’s travel wardrobe.

One mum said: "I have used happy nappy swim nappies before so was looking forward to trying this product which has an integrated swim nappy as little one often gets cold in the pool. There were a number of lovely bright prints available so picking just one was difficult. The nappy part is of the same design as the stand alone nappy so I felt confident in its reliability and the wetsuit top helped my little one to stay warm."

Best suncreen
Childs Farm Kids and Baby Sun Cream
Price: $39.60

Jetting off to somewhere warm? Sunscreen for your little one is an absolute necessity. We love this one by Childs Farm. It's got SPF 50+ protection, is water resistant and it's suitable for sensitive and eczema-prone skin. It smells lovely too, so what's not to like?

Pros:
Dermatologist and paediatrician approved
Cons:
Pricer compared to other sunscreens

Review: "When my son was an infant we soon discovered he came out in a rash everytime we applied suncream. After spending a fortune trying different brands, we found this and thankfully he wasn't allergic to it. We've been using it for years now, and I think it's improved in the last couple of years. It seems to be less dense, and easier to rub on to the skin. When we first began using it, he looked like I'd painted him white! It wasn't easy to rub in. It's definitely improved in that area. We used to use separate suncreams, as this is quite pricey, but I decided this was so much better as a suncream overall. My son never gets red and he seems to need less frequent applications comapred to the general suncream that we used for ourselves and our daughter. I saw my daughter's skin beginning to go red when in the sun (after applying suncream) whereas in the same time, my son's wasn't. So we all use this now. Yes - it's a bit pricey, but we tend to apply it less frequently so it probably evens itself out. It's less greasy than some other suncreams and the scent isn't over-powering."

Best poolside changing mat

Are you heading somewhere with a pool on your travels? This mat has been specifically designed for changing your little one by the water. It's made from soft and naturally antibacterial Neoprene and it has a non-slip rubber base so it's ideal for use on wet poolside floors.

Pros:

Cons:
It rolls up but doesn't fold compactly so might take up a bit more room in your luggage

Review: "Lightweight and folds up really small and neat to pop into waterproof bag. Sand sticks to bottom side but brushes off completely once dried. Has its own elasticated bands to secure in a roll. Just what I needed. Would recommend."

Best baby hat

Pros:

Pros:

Has bottom support and a soft sponge chest for safety and comfort
Cons:
A very small amount of reviews mention they had issues with punctures

Review: "I spent ages looking for the right inflatable swimming ring for my little boy. At the end, I decided to give this one a try. And I am so pleased I did! Easy to inflate and use. I think that the position of the baby makes it really nice for them to see everything around and even rest their head (if they need to) and kind of encourages them to kick their legs. My little one absolutely loved it!"

Best wet bag

Keep your little one's wet swimming things and swim nappies separate from everything else in your changing bag with this super cute, ocean-print wet bag. It's waterproof and easy to wipe clean with a simple fold and roll closure, which will come in handy when it comes to changing your little one when you're not at home.

Pros:
Lightweight, waterproof fabric

Cons:
The price is for one bag

Review: "Good product. I use mine for travelling and transporting wet items (swimwear, etc.) , bottles I think are at risk of leaking, e.g. shampoo, shower gel bottles, etc. on flights in my hold luggage. Good quality material, fully waterproof. A must-have for any travels, weekly swims..."
