Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I would recommend this product because it is excellent quality, very well designed, very useful, and very comfortable for my toddler. It fits perfectly on to her single mattress and lies completely flat. It feels just like cotton, you would not know that there was plastic in the sheet at all. Because of this, it feels very comfortable to lie on - even an adult would be unaware that they were lying on a waterproof childrens mattress protector if using this. The layers of cotton absorb and moisture and so contain any accidents/leakages.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It is great because it prolongs the lifespan of a mattress especially through the toddler/preschool years. In the event of night time leakages it is easy to take off the bed and wash in the machine. The single size is expensive but great value for money considering the level of comfort and the amount of use you would get out of it.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

There is nothing that I would change about this product.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

A really luxurious product that does not feel like a waterproof mattress protector. When I opened this box I thought I had been sent the wrong thing, what arrived blew me away. It was super soft with no tell-tale plastic crinkle, thick and of beautiful quality. What's more it's made from organic cotton so you know that there are no nasty pesticides coming in contact with your precious little one.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It's makes life easier because it gives parents the peace of mind that their baby's mattress will stay protected in the event of a leaking nappy, sickness or bed wetting but without compromising on comfort. It's so quick and easy to fit on top of the mattress under your usually flat or fitted sheet and you don't even know it's there.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

It's hard to think of a way to improve this product as I loved it the way it was but maybe adding elastic to the corners to secure it to the mattress would be helpful on the bigger sizes for those toddlers who like to pull the sheets off at the night. It would also be nice to be able to get it in bigger sizes for older bed wetters, my son is 4 and still has the occasional accident but sleeps in a double bed so we have to use a crinkly incontinence sheet on his bed, I would love to buy this in a bigger size for his bed.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

This product has really beaten all my expectations, it fits the bed well and does not slip, the sheet is extremely soft and does not have the plastics feel some mattress protectors have and does its job well, I'm really impressed and would highly recommend it.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It doesn't make my daughter sweat as it's super soft cotton and does not leak, the design is brilliant and easy to use and more importantly wash.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

A wider colour choice would be the only improvement, everything else is fantastic.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I found this mattress protector to be a good size for our cot bed, with a small amount of space around the edge. It feels pretty thick compared to a lot of other ones we've looked at. I found it to be nice and soft, it feels good quality and of course it is natural - being organic cotton so it felt nice for the baby. It also washed very well and so far has done the trick in protecting our mattress from any spills. Would recommend this.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

This protector is good because it saves our mattress from getting ruined. So far, this protector has worked really well - it’s also nice and quick to put on or take off, as it just rests on top and then the sheet encases it onto the mattress so no fiddling around.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I can't think of much that I'd change to improve this product. Although it is slightly more expensive than other protectors, I'd say it’s worth the investment as it is good quality and you get what you pay for.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I loved the feel of this and was totally surprised by it! When I've used waterproof mattress protectors in the past I've ended up taking them off after a bit because we found them noisy and plastic feeling, or that they made my daughter sweat more. My little boy is a very hot baby naturally but even he didn't seem to sweat any more than normal with this and there was no rustling to wake him every time he rolled over on it. The cover felt thick and high quality and was really easy to fit on, just like a normal mattress cover. Would definitely recommend these.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

Knowing it’s on the mattress just makes those dreaded moments when your little one has been sick or had an exploding nappy easier to deal with. It just gives me peace of mind that the mattress is fully protected, which is what you are looking for.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

There is nothing I would change about this, other than to maybe offer it in a few colours so as to match bedding sets and blend it in even further.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I loved the organic mattress protector by the Little Green Sheep. Was really soft to touch and as they say no crinkling noise like other mattress protectors. Since using this, my daughter seems to sleep better, I won't be going back to the old one! Love that it is organic and made with no harmful products. It does absorb really well and washes up lovely. Fitted our cotbed perfectly. I thought it was a bit pricey for a cotbed sheet but I guess you get what you pay for.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

This mattress protector absorbs any night-time mishaps and hasn't let it get through to the mattress. All that is needed is to place the sheet in the wash.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I would've liked it to be a fitted protector but I read it's been made like this to allow the matress to breath. I find a fitted one easier to fit but overall, it hasn't put me off.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I would highly recommend this product as it is really soft and comfortable. Unlike other mattress protectors you wouldn’t know it is there once the sheets are on – there is no ‘crinkly’ sound. And it works! It seems to be absorbent but no leaks made it through to the mattress below. It comes in a range of sizes to fit different cribs and cots, including some which fit specific brands of cots.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The product is great quality, feeling very durable and is easy to wash and dry (and is tumble dryer safe). Being organic, I have no worries as a mother that my baby is lying on a product which has been treated with potentially harmful toxins.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The product is flat and lies on top of the mattress without fitting round the sides. This was fine with my little one but I wonder whether it would fit quite so securely if you had a more wriggly or older baby.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I would recommend this mattress protector to fellow Mums because the quality is exceptional. It is a nice thick and soft fabric whilst being waterproof. My baby boy didn't have any accidents whilst testing this mattress protector so I tested the waterproof aspect of it by pouring a glass of water over it. The water pooled on top of the mattress protector and nothing seeped through. The mattress protector sits nicely under a sheet on the bed but with a rolling baby throughout the night, it did move out of place slightly. The protector can be folded easily and transported along with luggage for overnight trips away.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

This makes my life easier as a Mum because I can relax knowing that my baby's mattress is protected throughout the night should there be any accidents. I was able to wash and tumble dry this quickly so if need be, we can have a quick turn around time ready for the next time it's needed.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I would attach elasticated straps to the corners of the mattress protector so it can be fitted to the mattress to prevent movement during the night.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I absolutely love this product it is so nice and really well made. It is fantastic for protecting my mattress and it’s made of wonderful material that is super friendly. I have had to wash it as my son was sick on it and it was really well on a 30 wash. It’s easy to use, provides extra comfort.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It protected my mattress really well when my son was sick so saved me a fortune.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Have extra parts to the side to hold it in place.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

This mattress protector is a lovely product. Not plastic backed and made out of lovely soft organic cotton. It is completely waterproof, tested when my little girl had a bad case of nappy rash so I left her without a nappy through the night. No leakage through to the mattress and the cotton absorbed the water rather than let it pool. Washed perfectly and lay flat with no creases straight after.  I would recommend it to any of my friends and fellow parents.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

I loathe plastic backed mattress protectors. They crinkle, get ridges in them and make you sweat. The Little Green Sheep protector has none of these problems meaning a peaceful cool sleep! I love the fact it lies flat and is not fitted, and it also lets the mattress breathe. I also like that it is made out of natural products and is unbleached and gives a barrier against dust mites. My standout favourite thing about it is the fact that it is still 100% waterproof even with no nasty plastic on the underside. A winner for me for sure.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Although some may say this mattress protector is slightly expensive retailing at almost £30 for a 140 x 70 size it’s well worth the price for the quality. This is the only slightly negative thing I can think of and yet I would still be willing to pay that price.
