At a glance:
Our panel of mum testers really liked the convenience of having a top-to-toe bath wash and found that it didn’t irritate baby’s eyes which was a plus. The Baby Dove Rich Moisture Head to Toe Wash lathers up well without being too slippery and you’ll love that trademark Dove scent. Our testers were divided on how easy the pump was to use.
What they say:
Give your baby head-to-toe care with the Baby Dove Rich Moisture range. From baby body wash to baby lotions, it goes beyond mildness to help keep your little one’s delicate skin, hair and scalp healthy. In the first year of your baby’s life, their skin is delicate – so delicate that it’s about 30% thinner than our own. This means that your little one needs head to-toe moisturising care to help keep their skin, scalp and hair looking and feeling healthy. That’s why we created our Rich Moisture range. With fragrances designed specially for baby skin, every product provides gentle care and a delicate, comforting scent for your baby.

Would you recommend this to other mums?
I would recommend this product to a fellow mum to get the baby clean while using a gentle moisturizing product. It also has the trademark clean Dove scent which is nice for a baby as it is not too heavy. It lathers just a nice amount in order to get a good cleanse but not create a slippery mess!
How did this product make your life easier?
I don't feel this makes life any easier as it is just a product swap for something we would be doing at bath time usually. That said, whilst the product and packaging are not in any way stand out, the pump mechanism is easy to use while bathing baby.
Would you choose this product to win?
I don't feel I'd choose this product above all others as it does not have any extraordinary qualities compared to other brands. It does the job it is intended for and is a good retail price for the size provided, making it good value for money, but is just as good as other natural organic brands available.
What changes would you make to this product?
If the shape of the bottle was more ergonomic for ease of use while trying to bath a baby I feel it would be a good improvement. Also if the pump dispensed slightly more product in a single pump I think this would be better and would extend the life of the bottle for me and reduce wastage.

Would you recommend this to other mums?
I would most definitely recommend this product to my family, friends and more importantly fellow parents. I loved the design of the bottle, how easy it was to use, the scent and how it left my children's skin at the end of bath time. We took it on our holiday too as it was easy to transport by pushing the pump and turning to close it.
How did this product make your life easier?
I really loved this product, the design of the bottle was easy to hold and the pump meant that it was easy to get out rather than reaching for a bottle. I like the colour scheme as it went with my bathroom and thought it was great value as well for the size of the bottle.
Would you choose this product to win?
Yes, I do think I will now choose this product over other products on the market. Since my first child was born 16 years ago, I had always bought Johnsons baby products as I loved all of their range. But as time went on and I had more children, I realised I didn't need or use them all, so I am now converted to Dove.
What changes would you make to this product?
There really isn't anything that I think I would change about any of the products in the new Baby Dove range!

Would you recommend this to other mums?
I would recommend this to all of my mummy friends because it is very easy to use. It has the traditional Dove styling to the bottle regarding the font and style of writing, but using more subtle colours. The bottle was easy to hold and was fairly straightforward to operate. The smell is a traditional Dove smell which is nice as not heavily perfumed.
How did this product make your life easier?
This product makes my life easier as a mum because I don't have to faff about using loads of different bath products. Previous to this, I had used a bubble bath, a wash and a shampoo but this does all three and means there are less bottles beside the bath! I especially liked the pump action bottle. This was much easier to use with a slippery wet baby than a traditional bottle of baby wash or shampoo.
Would you choose this product to win?
I would choose this over my usual brand because it has a lovely smell, you don't need very much of it at all to complete the job of bathing, though the bottle seems smaller than other brands of top to toe washes. I feel this stands out more than other brands of the same type of product because although it is easily identifiable as Dove, which is a brand I trust.
What changes would you make to this product?
If there was one thing I could change it would be the usability of the pump action bottle. Although having the pump did make it easier to use when bathing my daughter, I felt that the pump was quite stubborn to operate. I have full mobility in my hands but I feel that if another parent or carer had less mobility (or suffered from arthritis), it may not be as easy to operate.

This leaves baby’s skin nice and soft. The product has a nice fragrance and is easy to use and store cleanly. The pump action bottle is really useful when bathing my baby and I thought the price was very reasonable considering it is a big bottle and will last a long time. It didn’t irritate my baby’s eyes and she seemed to like it!
How did this product make your life easier?
The pump action bottle is easy to use and I could have it on the floor whilst bathing baby. The bottle didn't leak so no sticky marks on bottle or on side, I started using it to wash hands after meals as well!
Would you choose this product to win?
I would prefer to use products that are put directly in the bath, as I find this is easier to manage rather than lathering a slippery baby. However, the product works well as a hand and face wash after meals and I would buy it for that purpose. I also really liked the smell of the Baby Dover Rich Moisture Head to Toe Wash.
What changes would you make to this product?
I would make it a product that can be put directly into the bath or market it slightly differently as a product to use out of bath. I think it would be good for older children to use in the shower.
