Testing the Aldi Mamia Bedtime Bath

Zoe: I like that it makes lots of bubbles and it has a really nice smell to it. For me, it is a product that does the job and keeps the shopping bill down. Which is great for me when budgeting for a family.

Katie: This product does not necessarily make my life easier than any other soap brand however I did like that it did not irritate our baby's skin or eyes. You also did not need to use lots of the soap to get plenty of bubbles in each bath, making it last longer. As we already shop at Aldi it does make life easier that we can get a good quality baby soap from there, saving us time going to another supermarket to get it.

Hannah D: This product made life easier as a mum as it was a large bottle so will last long. It was a cheaper alternative to another leading brand. It was available in my supermarket. It was friendly on my baby's skin and smelt great too, making this product overall great value for money and an alternative to competitors.

Corinne: I would absolutely recommend this product. More so for its quality and value for money! It is cheap enough and does a great job of being bath soap that you put in the bath. It seems good for our little boys' slightly sensitive skin! The bottle is large enough and you do not need loads so it lasts a while which is ideal. I like that it has a slight purple tinge to it so you can see it in the water and know where to mix it up!

Sarah W: I would recommend this product to a fellow mum as it is good value for money (especially compared to other baby brands on the market which are far more expensive), smells lovely, didn't leave a greasy residue in the bath, makes bath-time a fun experience and was gentle on my baby's skin. Only a small amount was needed to get a lot of bubbles.

Final thoughts

Charlotte: I would happily pick this product for a relaxing bath time product as it’s a very good size bottle for the price you pay, it’s easy to use one-handed during bath time. It has a very lovely smell to it and friendly to children’s skin of all ages. For the price, it’s essential for the children’s bath times.

There is nothing that I would change about this product. The bedtime bath solution is great quality and value for money and the bottle and branding is great and makes me think it is a quality product. We love this product and will use this as our bedtime bath for a long time to come with both our sons!

Sarah M: I wouldn't personally choose this product as I prefer the smell of Dove and Aveeno. The smell of this product is very pleasant but my personal preference is for those products. I think the price point for the amount of product you get is very good and those are very important things. The bubbles last a long time in the bath, perfect for my splashing baby.

Claire: Yes I would choose this above other products, it does exactly what it says on the label and at a price everyone can afford. It's a fantastic shampoo and great quality. It smells lovely - having used the more expensive equivalent I found this just as good. Baby products are expensive so it's so good to find these brilliant buys.

Zoe: I do not think that there is anything you could change about this product. It is a gentle product, has not caused any skin irritation, it can be used from birth, it has a lovely scent and is a great price. It lathers up well, which creates bubbles and it lasts for a long time. It ticks all the boxes that needs to be ticked when picking a bedtime bath soap.

Hannah D: One thing I would change about this product is the strength of the scent. Although you can smell the scent when putting it in the bath, once the water is in and once baby is out of the bath you cannot smell the soap any more. Other brands that I have used have had a stronger scent and more options available. However, this would not stop me from buying the product in the future.
