Tested by mum Hannah Clare for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend the Babymoov Babycamera 0% Emission to a friend/fellow mum?

The design of this product is stylish and it attaches easily and safely to a surface.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The app makes it easier for mums as you have your phone on you most of the time.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The set up was quite difficult and time-consuming with regards to connectivity and making the app work.

If you could change one thing about the Babymoov Babycamera 0% Emission what would it be?

Would be far better if you could move the camera remotely rather than having it stay in one position. I couldn't see my son when he had got out of bed. Also not so handy having the display on a phone / iPod as the battery life isn't brilliant so would easily 'die' and lose the image.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I thought that this camera was brilliant.  I was able to not only hear my baby, but also see, which is great, as you can monitor her moods from afar etc.  Not only could you view, but you could take photos and video of special moments that you potentially could miss out on.  Although at first it seemed like you could only use your phone to use it as a receiver for the camera, setting up alerts on the camera allowed the phone to be used as normal.  It was a little scary that when I gave it to a family member to test, that I could see everything they were doing and even record and take photos of it.  This was a huge issue to me and put me off the camera, which is a shame.  Once they too had the app and camera synced, they could see everything I was seeing when we brought it back home.  Huge safeguarding issue! At this point, I don’t think I can recommend it to a friend/fellow mum for that reason.

As above, in theory & practice it was brilliant, as you could see & hear the baby, not have numerous baby monitors having to be plugged in around the house etc.  Alerts to tell you that something had changed etc.  But the security issue has really thrown all of this out of the window.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Security and safeguarding your child. I think that this is a huge issue!  If the app has been downloaded on numerous phones and linked to that specific camera – it seems that they can then see everything.  You have to be sure that no-one else has this camera loaded on their app. This needs more work, as the camera & functionality itself are great, but I couldn't use it due to this issue.

Tested by mum Enrica Kennedy for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

The design visibly oozes quality.  I would recommend this product to other mums as once you get it up and running you will appreciate the benefits of all its features and ease of use.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

You are reassured that you can see your baby and monitor them with through a good quality clear picture.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

It was difficult for me to set up initially, however I then discovered I was unable to link this through my own Internet as I have satellite broadband which uses a different box... I had to test this at my mum’s.

Tested by mum Paula Murray for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend the Babymoov Babycamera 0% Emission to a friend/fellow mum?

This product looks very nice and of very good quality. It has great ability to please those technical-minded people who just love new gadgets and concepts.  This will tick all the boxes.  For me, however, I found it difficult to use and as I am not technically-minded and did not get all the benefits completely.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It monitors the baby,  provides lots of pleasing ideas such as pictures to capture moments where normal monitors don't do this.  Music, night lights.  0% emissions which I guess is the new era and the way forward.  This is a great start to that.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Make it more user-friendly for not so techy people and easier to understand.

Tested by mum Jennifer Clark for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I found the product difficult to connect to, this could have been due to my own internet access, however, I did not get on well with it.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

I can see, once up and running, the product could be very useful.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Make it easier to connect to.

Tested by mum Samantha Smyth for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I feel that this is a very well-designed monitor and would recommend this due to the advances it offers over other monitors I have used or tried in the past. It's easy to set up and use.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

For a first time mum sleep is important and this product it offers reassurance in terms of being able to check on a baby without having to leave the room, knowing that there is no delay, which, in turn, offers reassurance. Features that are important and which this monitor has are the strong signal and great quality picture. I enjoyed the colour changing night light, clear two way communication and the ability to see the room temperature. Soothing music is great to get baby over to sleep.

How does the Babymoov Babycamera 0% Emission make your life easier as a mum?

This product doesn't seem to work fully. I didn't feel safe with just using this monitor as I feel you should always be able to hear your child instead of awaiting a notification.
