Key features

Temperature display: making sure your baby wears the correct clothing in bed is highly important to make sure they don't overheat or are too cold. The temperature display on this monitor helps with this.

Two-way talk system: this allows you to be able to speak to your baby without having to be directly in the room with them.

Infrared night vision and HD resolution: whether its day or night the 1080 HD resolution, alongside the infrared night vision makes sure you have a high quality, crystal clear view of your baby at all times.

Digital pan, tilt and zoom: it doesn't matter whether your baby has wriggled to a different side of the bed, with the Nursery Pal Cloud you're able to move the camera from wherever you are in the house.

Testing the Nursery Pal Cloud

Our mum testers found the Nursery Pal Cloud easy to set up and loved how its nifty features (such as being able to move the camera via the mobile app) gave them the freedom to get on with the rest of their day.

"The Hubble arrived neatly packaged with simple setup instructions and I couldn’t believe how easy it was to setup and get going," says Shona. "The picture is crisp clear and signal was fab. It also works amazing in low light, so I still clearly see baby. I was amazed by how I could move the camera with a simple swipe of the monitor or press option to speak to baby. I was able to get on with my everyday tasks comfortably around the whole house and able to watch my little man on the way. I also loved the feature of been able to slide down a cover over the camera when not in use."

Becka also seconds Shona, that the Nursery Pal Cloud was easy to use: "Easy to use and good design," she says. "It has great sound and visuals that makes nap time and bed times a lot easier for us, as we can keep a constant eye on the child." Our mum tester Jodie was also in agreement: "As an actual camera this product was great. It worked well in a pitch black bedroom and I loved that you could move the camera remotely which meant you didn't need to fiddle with it in the dark next to his head."

While it doesn't take away from the quality of this smart baby monitor, one thing our parent testers weren't too keen on were the additional games that can be played on the monitor screen. Mum tester Sarah described them as "pointless", while our other mum tester Carly said they were "unnecessary, as I would never allow my baby or toddler to play with the monitor".

The only real qualm our parent testers had with the Nursery Pal Cloud was its battery life and were keen for it to last a little longer before having to access a power supply. However, with a fully charged battery, mum tester Mari thinks it's a top baby monitor, especially when taking into account its picture quality. "I think the battery life, once charged in the monitor, is better than another monitor that we have used, and the camera quality is also better especially in low light," she says. "The sound quality and functionality is also very similar. It’s a premium product."
