Testing the Babymoov YOO Go Plus 5" Video Monitor

One mum said: "I am very, very impressed by this Babymoov YOO Go Plus 5" Video Monitor. We have been after a baby monitor for travel and this is it! The really innovative design of the mount on the camera is just pure brilliance, there is not a surface you can’t attach it to so it really does suit every situation you may find yourself in. The overall product quality is very good, it feels well-made and versatile and very user-friendly. I didn’t have to look at the user manual once. I love the fact that you can change the camera independently and don’t have to rely on having a power socket close to your child’s sleeping in order to plug in a camera. The camera itself is clear enough for what you need, I wouldn’t say its a clear as some models on the market when in the daytime light, but in the dark, it’s good enough. I will definitely be recommending this to a fellow mum."

Another added: "It is nice and simple to use, the different types of attachment are handy for everyone’s situation. This meant you can easily take it away with you with the clip feature and move around the house with it, with ease. A simple on and off button on the camera and monitor plus a big screen on the monitor with day and night features. You're also able to adjust the volume and change the music/sound to come out of the camera. I also like that you can also zoom in."

One tester commented: "This has made my night times easier as my twins who are 4 months can be in bed upstairs and I can watch/talk to them whilst I am downstairs, clearing up/relaxing etc. I use the camera in my bedroom and carry the monitor around the house whilst I get on with different tasks. I can also play the music on the camera to calm them down."

Final thoughts

The Babymoov YOO Go Plus 5" Video Monitor is great, as it is so portable, making it perfect for travelling or for use around the home. It enables you to continue with your evening whilst being reassured your baby is safe. The monitor is powered by a rechargeable battery, saving you pennies on your energy, as it isn't plugged in all the time. However with it being battery-powered, it's life may not last as long. However, this means it can be placed anywhere within the nursery as it doesn't have to be where a plug socket is. It also comes with multiple attachments which allow you to attach the camera to different surfaces and achieve the perfect angle for viewing your baby day or night.

The monitor being 5" allows for better viewing as well, whilst also being able to zoom in on your baby to get a closer look. If your baby is struggling to settle, it also plays lullabies and has a walkie-talkie function letting you speak to your little one through it.
