The Babycare TENS Elle TENS+ machine is easy to use and effective. It helps mums-to-be cope with the pain during contractions, especially at the beginning of labour, and it is also great for post natal back pain and even shoulder pain (and the like).
It’s quick to assemble and the included instruction manual offers advice on where to place the pads for ultimate relief. It is an expensive product – and so it might we worth borrowing or hiring a TENS machine to see if it’s something that could work for you during labour, before shelling out cash for a new one. If it does work, it’ll be the best thing you ever bought!

What bath products can I use when pregnant?
Naturally, you want to be careful about the type of products you use on your skin while pregnant but the good news is that the majority of pregnancy bath products are safe to use for you and your little one. You should always check the packaging however and we recommend choosing pregnancy-specific bath products as they're designed especially for pregnant ladies and are bound to offer lots of benefits too.
When should I start wearing maternity pads?
It’s entirely up to you! While maternity pads are mostly known for being packed in hospital bags and used post-birth to help manage bleeding, many women find them useful when their waters break too.
Can I use nipple cream during pregnancy?
Absolutely! As with maternity pads, nipple cream is commonly used after birth when breastfeeding but if you’re suffering from sensitive and itchy breasts while pregnant, nipple cream can certainly help offer relief.
