Testing the Modor + Bearn warming back rub

Our parent testers put the Modor + Bearn warming back rub to the test and here is what they thought.

Tyler said: "My experience with the Modor & Bearn warming back rub is most positive and slightly negative. The negative side was that when I first used the product I used the recommended amount which was three full pumps. I personally found this to be way too much and it left my skin very itchy and I had to wash it off due to being uncomfortable with the rub on my skin. However, I didn’t want to give up on the rub as I loved the concept of the rub and the background in which it was made. The positive side to the rub was when I only used one pump to the area needed, it worked much better for myself. The rub still left me with a small itch, however I found it much more manageable to leave the rub on and let it work. I mainly used the rub before bed and when I woke up after use I would definitely feel the difference within my achy back."

Caroline said: "This stuff is absolutely amazing. I was heavily pregnant and suffering really bad with a sore back. I used this rub once it eased my pain literally straight away. I have continued using this even after c-section as my back was still aching and it was absolutely amazing. I will continue to use the rub every time my back plays up."

Scarlett said: "Found the warming back rub brilliant! Now in my third trimester of pregnancy, lower back pain has become unavoidable. This product was easy to use and didn’t take long at all to kick in. The heat sensation was strong and it’s a product I plan on packing for hospital. The product is very similar to Deep Heat, but suitable for pregnancy. What I found most impressive was how long the ‘deep heat’ sensation lasted - well over an hour. The heat sensation was ‘intense’ and could be too intense for some. I followed the application instructions and enjoyed the heat relief - if you lower the application of the product (amount applied) does this decrease the intensity? If so, worth noting on pack. Overall, I was impressed with the product. I also enjoyed the smell of the product but if it could smell of lavender (or something less clinical), this could be a huge attraction for pregnant women."

Kayleigh said: "I have a very sore back with being pregnant with the constant sitting for my job and I also have another two children to run about after. Since I've been using this I've noticed what a difference it makes. I get my husband to put it on and he gently massages it in. All I can say is 'wow'. The heat isn't too intense like Deep Heat. It's a nice feeling."

Rhian said: "During pregnancy I suffered from the usual aches and pains, however, I also suffered from upper gastric pre-eclampsia pains, also radiating through my back and shoulders. I had tried pain reliefs, heat packs, cooling sprays, anything to try and relieve some of the pains. When I received the Modor + Bearn warming back rub, I was slightly dubious, but I was wrong! The heat that radiates from this product lasted for me (personally) at least five hours. This enabled me to be pain-free long enough to fall asleep, and also do daily tasks I had previously struggled to do. I'm still suffering six weeks post partum and I am still using this product. The product is far more effective than heat packs!"

**Collette said: "**I got to review this product and I was amazed how good it really is. It's really easy to use, comes in a pump bottle. The cream comes out easily and is like a soft cream that applies to the skin really well, it doesn't stain the skin or clothing like some I have used. It also has a lovely smell to it."
