What they say:

“The SleepCurve Moses Basket Mattress, developed by leading paediatric cranial osteopath Philip Owen, supports healthier and more peaceful sleep for babies with a unique ergonomic 'curve' which creates a natural 'cradling' effect, similar to a mother cradling a baby in her arms. The mattress is designed to alleviate pressure points, open the airways, maintain a cool temperature and reduce acid reflux symptoms as well as preventing or remedying flat head syndrome.”

Would you recommend this to other mums?

The main selling point of this mattress for me is that it helps babies that are suffering with reflux. Anything that helps ease the symptoms of reflux is always welcome. The mattress is clearly a very good quality and the sheets provided also seem to be a very high standard. The zip feature is an added bonus.

How did this product make your life easier?

Anything that helps to reduce the symptoms of reflux will make my life easier. Having a 2 pack of sheets is good too as even though it pretty obvious that you need 1 on and 1 in the wash-a lot of companies only provide 1 cover with their products. Again-having a refluxy baby means more washing so the more sheets the better!

The Sleepcurve Moses basket mattress is a high quality product. The standard runs throughout, from the look and feel of the product, the packaging was very pleasing, the sheets provided were a good quality, the added bonus that it's also not just a plain old mattress, it's actually something that will help with reflux.

What changes would you make to this product?

I think I would maybe just reduce the price a little...and also maybe a waterproof backed sheet may be something people would be interested in? There are a lot of Moses basket mattresses out there and I think new parents may just make do with a cheaper one and try tilting the cot to help reflux? As the product is aimed at refluxy babies, a waterproof sheet would be advisable-especially with the cost of the mattress...I would be terrified of ruining it!!

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend the SleepCurve Moses Basket Mattress to other mums as it almost molds to the baby for a really comfortable night’s sleep. It's very lightweight so can easily be taken out to clean. Also it comes with two covers that are soft enough so you don't have to put a Moses basket sheet on it too. Also the curve of the mattress helps with wind.

How did this product make your life easier?

The fact it has two sheets with it means one can always be clean and that is a massive help. Life is made easier as I know my baby is having a good night’s sleep. There is nothing I can fault about it.

Would you choose this product to win?

This has given my baby the best night’s sleep. She only woke up once and that was for a feed. The way it molds to the body is perfect for a baby. I was really impressed with how much it helped with winding my baby and having two sheets is a bonus not to have to buy them on top.

What changes would you make to this product?

These is nothing I could say to improve the SleepCurve Moses Basket Mattress as I thought it was perfect for my baby. She had the best night’s sleep in it and I wouldn't change a thing. Possibly a little on the pricy side but you get what you pay for and I prefer sleep to money. Cannot fault this product at all. Just perfect.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

I would recommend the SleepCurve Moses Basket Mattress to friends/fellow mums because it is a quality product that really improves the quality of your baby's sleep, and in turn your own. Reflux has been a big problem for my baby but there has been a noticeable improvement since we started using this mattress and it also helps him to breathe easier which is a huge bonus when he has a cold. It it easy to transport and doesn't take up a lot of room wherever you use it.

How did this product make your life easier?

Nap time has always been a bit of an issue in our house and as my son has never been a fan of his Moses basket I have had to creep up the stairs whilst holding him to put him down for a nap. I have used the SleepCurve Mattress in our Moses basket and he sleeps for longer and seems to feel more secure. I have also put it on the rug and sofa and he has slept soundly. It has really helped with his sleeping routine and my own!

Would you choose this product to win?

The SleepCurve Moses Basket Mattress is far from your standard mattress. As a first-time mum I did not know that ergonomic mattresses were available and so I cannot recommend this one enough. It does not retain heat and is fully breathable so you do not need to worry if your baby flips on to their front or if it is a particularly hot day/night.

What changes would you make to this product?

My only wish for Moses basket mattresses in general is that they would be machine washable so that they can be stored and used for future children. The mattress protector works perfectly however and so there is nothing that I would change about this mattress, I just wish I'd had one since my son's birth!
