Our top tips to navigate and prepare for Amazon Prime Day 2025

• Make a list of what you need. Whether you're expecting a little baby and want to get ahead and some some money on the baby essentials, want to stock up on nappies and wipes or want to get ahead for Christmas and birthdays, making a list makes sure that you are in control and don't overspend on things you don't need.

• Keep an eye on early deals. Even though Amazon Prime Day doesn't officially start until Tuesday 8 July, there are already deals to be had. Prices change a lot in the build up and during Amazon Prime Day and our experience writers and editors often admit that some of the best deals happen early on. Watch out for lightening deals, too, as these are limited-time offers so it is best to act fast.

• Stick to a spending limit. Have an idea of what you want to spend for things and stick to it, especially when it comes to higher-priced items such as baby monitors, travel systems and breast pumps.

• Sign up for and create a Amazon Baby Wishlist. This amazing tool allows new and expentant parents to create a list of baby products that can then be shared with family and friends.Add everything you need for your new arrival to your Amazon Baby Wishlist and enjoy benefits such as a welcome gift and discounts. We love this feature, especially as you can track everything that you need and avoid duplicate gifts. Plus, it is tailored to you and your family (so no unwanted gifts).

• Bookmark this page for more as we'll be updating it with the best deals in the Prime Day sales when we spot them. And if you're in the market for a new baby car seat or pushchair bookmark that page too for some amazing savings!

What to expect from Amazon Prime Day 2025

Here at Mother&Baby, our experienced team of writers and editors have found fantastic savings on baby essentials such as baby monitors, breast pumps, nappies, wipes, toys, cots, moses baskets and more. There are also plenty of summer deals on outdoor toys, car seats, bath seats, travel prams and cots, fans and blackout curtains and blinds. Having worked many Prime Days in our time, this is also the moment to snap up any technology deals as the prices are usually the lowest in these sales.

Do Amazon Prime Day deals change?

Yes! Throughout the event Amazon release so-called lightening deals that come with a time limit, so you have to be quick and snap them up before they expire and go back to the original price. This year, Amazon are releasing themed days, so Tuesday is deals on technology, Wednesday is beauty and self-care, Thursday is fashion and Friday is home and garden.

There will also be 'New Deal Drops' so keep an eye out for time-limited deals launching every day at midnight.
