Are you taking choline if pregnant or breastfeeding? If not - you should be!

Choline is recommended to be taken in pregnancy for its importance in brain development, protection against infection and cognitive function including autism. Not enough women and professionals realise its importance.

Many women don’t have access to new clinical nutritional advice to give their baby the optimal start to life. Purermama was launched after a doctor developed and delivered free antenatal classes to women during the pandemic and realised women were not receiving up to date advice and the products on the market did not meet the need.

Up to 70% of women were anaemic in pregnancy and after simply because their supplements didn’t contain enough iron. Between 50-75% were deficient in choline even on a healthy plant based diet. Up to 50% of women were vitamin D deficient. To meet this need, Purermama was launched to enable women and their babies to be stronger and healthier using up to date science.

After using the purermama supplements women found increased energy levels and stopped being anaemic (reviews on website). The multivitamin essence capsule has been featured for its high levels of nutrients in the Evening Standard and Daily Mail; and voted by parents as a top supplement by project baby.
