Awards

The Joie Finiti with Sprint won Gold in the Mother&Baby Awards 2025 for Best Travel System. This product was tested by eight parents ahead of the awards.
They all loved the travel system's smart and modern look, with many commenting that the design "makes you think it’s a lot more expensive than it is." The favourite features on the pushchair were the large storage basket, extra pockets for all the bits you may need as a parent, and protective cover - "After a very wet summer, I can confirm that the rain cover is decent as my little one stayed dry whilst under it!"
The foldability was the real standout for this mum - "I’ve used other pushchair brands before and none of the other products have been quite so easy to use or take up as little space. The last pushchair I used, I had to remove the seat before folding down the base and would have a daily struggle arranging them to fit in the boot."

Being able to let your child face you or the outside world when in the pushchair was something this one mum loved - "My son is quite particular about how he wants to sit up. He wants to see everything but doesn’t want to be upright. I love that you can angle the seat and foot rest to whatever position suits." In general, manoeuvrability and navigation were reported well, and thanks to the great wheel size, you can easily ride over any minor bumps in your way while keeping your baby "snug and comfortable in the pram." "It handles well on uneven terrain, and the suspension seems good, keeping the ride smooth" for your little one.
Paired with the Sprint i-Size Car Seat, this system is brilliant for getting in and out of the car. One parent told us, "The red and green safety lights also put my mind at ease by letting me know the car seat is fitted correctly."
"The whole travel system is easy to put up and store away when not in use and is interchangeable depending on what we are doing. It’s easy to manoeuvre one-handed and is lightweight," says one tester. It is also so simple to clean as "all it needed was a wipe down with a damp cloth and it was as good as new." A further parent has described how they will continue to use the system - "Each product has contributed positively to my child's daily activities, encouraging both learning and play in a comfortable and engaging environment. I couldn't be happier with how these products have integrated into our lives!"

Testing the Joie Finiti with Sprint
I initially struggled to remove the pram from the box—it felt quite heavy at first. It became much more manageable once I separated the pram into its individual parts. The Swivel seat itself is made of lightweight materials and was easy to lift and carry.
It took me about five minutes, with some trial and error and a thorough look at the manual, to figure out how to fold the pram. Assembling the system wasn’t intuitive to me, but with the manual’s guidance, my partner and I were able to assemble everything and test out all the functions in just under an hour.

Once I got the hang of it, folding the pram down became quick and easy. It folds compactly, especially when the hood is removed, and it fits easily into the boot of my car, which makes it very convenient for travel.
I found the digital version of the manual hard to use on my phone, diagrams and instructions were on separate pages, meaning I had to scroll constantly to cross-reference the text with the images. This led to a bit of a panic moment when I connected the car seat but couldn’t figure out how to detach it. I feared it was stuck! With no clear guidance in the manual, I reached out to Joie’s customer service team. Thankfully, they were brilliant, very reassuring on the phone and they sent me a helpful video that made detaching the seat easy. A more detailed and user-friendly manual would’ve made a big difference from the start.

Once folded down, the pram is easy to store. Removing the wheels makes it even more compact. The Swivel seat stays as one unit and fits neatly back into the large box it arrived in—ideal for storage. I’ve been keeping it either in the box or in the car to keep it clean and safe from my mischievous cats, who would love to turn it into a scratching post!
The Swivel seat is a great feature - it supports your baby through different growth stages. It’s well-padded and perfect for newborns, with plenty of space to grow. The seat should last up until around age four, and the adjustable safety straps make it suitable for a wide age range. It easily clicks between the pram frame and the car seat base, and the large plastic handle makes carrying it very manageable. The seat feels spacious and the under-seat storage is generous, plenty of room for bags and baby essentials.
As a first-time mum, I found the ISOFIX system a bit challenging to navigate at first. The Sprint car seat arrived pre-assembled, which was helpful, but I did have some difficulty securing it to the ISOFIX base in my car. The seat's manual consisted of only a few diagrams, and accessing the full version required scanning a QR code to go online. A more comprehensive printed guide would have been helpful, especially for someone new to this kind of system.

The pram itself is highly adjustable, with multiple layout and position options. With so many configurations available, there’s definitely a learning curve—I’ve kept the manual close by for quick reference. The Swivel seat can be adjusted while fitted in the car, though depending on your vehicle’s layout, it might require a bit of flexibility to manoeuvre. Thankfully, adjusting the strap size is simple and ensures a snug and secure fit for baby.
The overall build quality of the pram is excellent. The large wheels and easy-to-use foot brake give it a sturdy, safe feel. The Swivel seat offers 360-degree rotation, allowing for rear-facing positioning, which is the safest option in the event of an accident. It fits securely and I have complete confidence in its safety performance.
The pram brakes work well and lock the wheels firmly in place. The ISOFIX mechanism holds the car seat securely, providing peace of mind that it’s properly installed. The wheels have a smooth, gliding action, making the pram very easy to manoeuvre. Locking the wheels in a fixed position is especially helpful when you don’t need to turn.
Testing the Joie Ramble XL Carry Cot
The carry cot arrives fully assembled, which is convenient, but it cannot be folded down for compact storage, something that could be an issue if you have limited car space. It’s fairly bulky, making it impractical to take into cafés or similar spaces separately from the pram base. The cot is medium weight, largely due to its wooden base, but once clipped into the pram frame, it feels light and easy to push, even uphill.
That said, it isn’t lightweight enough to comfortably move from room to room throughout the day, so if you’re planning to use it as an indoor sleeping cot as well, it may not be the most convenient option.

As it comes as a single, complete unit, the setup is simple and intuitive - I didn’t need any instructions to assemble it. It attaches to the pram base using detachable straps and can be removed easily. However, due to its size and the foldable pram base, it takes up most of the space in my car boot.
In terms of dimensions, it strikes a good balance: it’s spacious enough for the newborn stage and should accommodate a growing baby for the first few months. Still, it’s not the most compact option for transport, particularly when bringing it into cafés or smaller spaces, where a spin car seat might be a more convenient alternative.

While this carry cot is ideal for newborns, it’s really only suitable for the early months. The long base is generous (my 3-week-old currently only fills about half the length), but as it doesn’t expand, its longevity depends on your baby’s size. There are no internal safety straps, so once your baby can roll or attempt to climb, the cot becomes unsuitable. At that point, a seated pram attachment will be a better fit for a wriggly or mobile baby.
Once securely fastened to the pram base, the cot feels very stable and doesn’t wobble or shift when going over uneven or bumpy terrain. The design is attractive too, sleek black with tan leather accents gives it a modern yet timeless look. The adjustable hood adds to the stylish shape and provides good coverage.
Final thoughts
All the material on the pram and car seat can be removed with made it easy to wash. The Swivel seat can easily be sponge-wiped to remove stains. The build quality of the pram and car seat are high quality and the materials used are great; it feels like it would last a long time with little damage. The tyres are strong and would easily withstand the wear from rough road surfaces. The large pram wheels make it feel incredibly stable and once fitted, the car seat feels absolutely solid once it’s locked in with the ISOFIX.
I really like the design of both the pram and the car seat, I feel they look sleek and stylish with the combination of leather on the handles and the earthy oyster/grey colour scheme of the frame. It’s a great unisex design that feels modern. The material that the seat is made from feels super comfortable, very happy with the overall feel of both items.
