Testing the Graco UK Near2Me DLX Special Bundle
The testers were full of praise for the pram - one told us it had a "lovely design, lovely colour and I love the idea of bringing the child closer to you. Also, you get lots of space in the shopping basket!" Another praised the versatility of the design, telling us "I like that the stroller seat can face the parent or the other side, it is easy to push and even a taller toddler can sit in it comfortably."
"The folding mechanism is intuitive, and the stroller's manoeuvrability is excellent, thanks to its responsive wheels and steering," said one pleased parent, going on to tell us that "the adjustments for the seat and handlebar are straightforward, making it easy to customise for individual preferences." This is great for parents with a significant height difference who both want to use the same pram!
The testers also really appreciated the car seat's unique features. "The car seat is very light which is very helpful," said one mum, going on to tell us that "it is very straightforward to turn, and the isofix gives me peace of mind as I know the car seat is secured." Installation had no issues for our testers, and they particularly loved the handy colour-coded indicators, so you could be certain your baby was safe in a properly installed seat. Safety isn't the only benefit - one parent told us "I like that the car seat also swivelled, making it much easier to get baby out of the car if you don’t want to also take the car seat out."
"The system comes in one box and the carry cot is collapsible, which makes it all easy to store," said one pleased parent, who went on to tell us that "the grey exterior looks smart and has UV protection." Aesthetics aren't always your primary concern with a pram system, but the Graco Near2Me doesn't slouch in that department either. One mum told us, "The Near2Me DLX sports a modern and sleek design, combining aesthetics with practicality. Its streamlined look not only adds a touch of elegance but also contributes to its user-friendly nature."
Storage is also handled well. "The whole travel system is easy to put up and store away when not in use and is interchangeable depending on what we are doing. It’s easy to manoeuvre one-handed and is lightweight," said a certain tester. Another particularly appreciated the carrycot's small size, telling us "the fact that the carrycot is collapsible is a great thing for me as I don't have lots of space in the flat and it makes it easier to store and is space-saving. The materials are good quality and easy to wipe down."
Final verdict
Overall, the testers were thrilled with the whole system. "My favourite feature is the car seat's rotating base, as the swivel makes it far easier to get baby in and out of the car," said one happy mum. A different parent told us "the design of the pram itself is not flimsy, it's quite sturdy which I also liked! The material was lovely and I was surprisingly able to wipe clean easily which I loved!"
