The WaterWipes won Gold in the Mother&Baby Awards 2025 for Best Baby Wipe.

WaterWipes are the first baby wipes ever to be approved by Allergy UK. As pure as cotton wool and cooled boiled water, maternity wards and neonatal intensive care units in the UK and Ireland have started recommending them to parents.

Comprising 99.9% water (rather than being full of chemicals), these wipes are soft, gentle and kind to baby’s skin. They are great for hands and faces as well as bottoms and are also economical, which is a good thing as there are only ten wipes in a travel pack. Some mums might find the wipes a little dry, expensive too, but overall, great quality and good value for money.

Pros

  • Ideal for sensitive skin
  • Durable but soft on the skin
  • Nice and moist

Cons

  • Higher price than other comparable brands
  • Packaging issues sometimes lead to getting more wipes than you wanted

Awards

With their allergy-friendly nature and incredible softness, it's no wonder that these wipes won Gold in the Mother&Baby Awards 2025 for Best Baby Wipe.

WaterWipes baby wipes are highly praised by our parents for their gentle, skin-friendly formula and reliable cleaning performance. Made with minimal ingredients and no harsh chemicals, they’re especially well-suited for babies with sensitive or delicate skin. As one parent put it, “I feel confident that I am not causing damage to my baby's delicate skin.”

The wipes are soft yet durable, offering a balance between being gentle on skin and strong enough to handle messy clean-ups. Testers consistently noted that the wipes are “not dry” and “do a good job cleaning up messes” without tearing. Their versatility is also a plus - ideal not just for nappy changes, but also for wiping hands, faces, and surfaces after mealtime.

The packaging is considered a good size and well-sealed to retain moisture, keeping the wipes fresh and effective. However, a common frustration among users is the tendency for multiple wipes to come out at once, which can be inconvenient during changes.

While WaterWipes are more expensive than some alternatives, parents generally agree they are worth the price for the peace of mind and skin protection they offer. The lack of scent, effective folding, and non-irritating nature of the wipes round out the product's appeal.
