What they say:

“PLAYMOBIL's Pirate Fort SuperSet is a secret hideout for little rebels to stash their golden treasures. Budding pirates can safely deliver their riches to shore on the floating row-boat, whilst keeping a look out for the enemy on the viewing platform. Watch out for the fully-functioning cannon to aim and FIRE!

“Children can build the set themselves, attaching lanterns and mooring the boat. This SuperSet is designed to develop important motor-skills whilst encouraging creative and imaginative play. The set comes complete with swords, treasure chest, parrot, gold and more!”

We have a few other PLAYMOBIL toys but this one is defintely the favourite one! It comes with lots of accessories, three pirates and a great backdrop. Really good for the price in my opinion. The product itself is very easy to assemble too. The children couldn't wait to play with it and it didn't disappoint - they’ve had a lot of fun playing with it.

It is really refreshing to see a toy that doesn't need batteries and isn't electronic. This is a classic toy that really allows children to unleash their imagination and have good old fashioned fun. My children have had so much fun reenacting different stories using the set. They've played for it for hours on end since getting it. As a mum, it makes me happy to see them having so much fun and also gives me some time to do other things I need to get done.

When I was young, I had a number of PLAYMOBIL sets and I always found them to be both high quality and very good value for money. This is a toy that will last a long time. Every last little detail is well done. That's something that is quite rare to be able to say nowadays! My children adore playing with it.

What changes would you make to this product?

I like to put a toy away after my children have finished playing with it. I find that this helps prevent pieces from going missing and also minimises clutter. However, once this product is assembled, I'm not sure that it can be disassembled again.

This PLAYMOBIL Pirate Fort SuperSet is a must-have for children. My 5 year old son has spent ages playing with this pirate set. It triggers his imagination no end. From tracking down hidden treasure to a pirate walking the plank, the games are endless. He has really enjoyed setting the play set up himself and had as much fun doing that as he did playing once he had finished. It's a lovely set with lovely attention to detail. I’d absolutely recommend this set.

As a mum my children love playing this toys, especially ones that can help their imaginative play and role play. There are so many scenes that can be set with the pirate ship. My five year old has had great fun. I am always in the look-out for toys that will keep him occupied for longer than 5 minutes and he really enjoyed putt all the pieces of this set together and seeing the finished product he completed by himself. It gave him a huge sense of pride.

This product has kept my child entertained whilst I got on of doing other mundane stuff. It kept him occupied for a good while and he enjoyed doing it. The detail of the set is excellent. The pirate ship is well made and stands up to hours of play. It's a lovely set and I like that it is aimed at both girls and boys. Girls like pirate ships and hunting treasure too.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would not change a thing about this toy set. It has been an absolute joy to play with. I think my children will have many more hours of fun with it. My 2 year old is looking forward to the time he can get his hands on it as at the moment the parts are a little bit too small for him. It is perfectly suited for the age range it is made for.

The quality of this PLAYMOBIL Pirate Fort SuperSet is excellent. Easy to build following the instructions, with the help of my four year old, it feels as though it is built to last. Made from a durable plastic it is incredibly easy to keep clean and can withstand some very energetic play from a three and four year old.

How did this product make your life easier?

This PLAYMOBIL Pirate Fort SuperSet is full of little extras to help encourage my children's imagination. Three pirates, a boat, a parrot, a goat and plenty of accessories had my two children playing happily, together! The quality is excellent, and I can let them play knowing it'd be hard to have any breakages.

Great value for money and brilliant quality, this is built to last and I know my children will have hours of fun with it. So much is included for the price, allowing little ones to really use their imagination. Another great set from PLAYMOBIL, we have all enjoyed playing with it.

What changes would you make to this product?

Something we'd like to change about the PLAYMOBIL Pirate Fort SuperSet would be to include a 'girl pirate' as requested by my three year old. She was a little disappointed that all the pirates were 'boys' and her brother was happy to use this as leverage to play with all of the pirates. Also upon opening, one of the pirate cuffs had become lodged in the tankard which took a lot of effort to remove, so the smaller items could maybe be packaged together to prevent this.

Yes, I am a huge fan of PLAYMOBIL and so are two of my three children. The design of it is really good and my three year old has had so much fun firing the cannon and with the parrot especially. Easy to use, easy to put together even for younger children. It seems to stay quite clean too. It’s great to mix sets as we have lots of knights and they have now played on the fort too. The storage hut for treasure is great and it’s all so easy to build and take apart and unbuild. It’s very colourful too.

How did this product make your life easier?

It keeps both my five and three year old entertained for hours which makes my life easier. It appeals to their imagination so i am confident they are learning as they play. With so many aspects it’s really easy for them to share it too and play with different parts. It’s very safe with lots of extras too. It’s good there are so many pirates to play with too. The attention to detail is very good when it comes to teaching the boys about pirates. Also like the way the pirates faces are painted too and beards.

It’s great value for money as sometimes PLAYMOBIL can be a bit pricey. It’s very traditional and will hopefully last for years like most PLAYMOBIL does It can be mixed up with other PLAYMOBIL accessories for play too. It’s all super sturdy and the attention to detail is great. It’s small but this means it can be packed away easily and also teaches my children to look after their things so they keep an eye on all the little pieces. I like it better than LEGO as it’s cheaper and seems to have more pieces.

The PLAYMOBIL Pirate Fort SuperSet is a very good set. The PLAYMOBIL figures are super and easy for young children to dress and undress. The pirate fort was hard to put together and needed adult help. The accessories that came with it are all easy to assemble and put in the correct places on the fort set. The cannon is super if fires out too much to our boys amusement. Once up and erected it is easier to leave it up as the children found it hard to assemble the fort.

How did this product make your life easier?

The boys played with the PLAYMOBIL Pirate Fort SuperSet and they enjoyed it too. I removed the small bag on coins as they were far to small to use. Although they were very good I felt they were to small and the boys wanted to play with the guns and the cannon. It did encourage a lot of imaginative play and the use of different language too as the boys played together.

Would you choose this product to win?

The realistic items in the fort was very good especially the cannon. The boys liked the cannon the best. The figures was the next best as the boys took the pieces off/on with ease. The things the boys began to pull off each other was the guns, and small items . The boat and parrot they liked too and produced a lot of the language . I would like the coins to be bigger so the boys could have involved this in their play.

What changes would you make to this product?

The PLAYMOBIL Pirate Fort SuperSet is a great set for the children to play with . They enjoyed using their imagination and talked to each other as they played with the set. I think the one thing that would improve the set would be to change the small packet of coins and replace it with some colourful jewels, maybe just 4. The boys did talk about having jewels to put in the chest and have some treasure. Other than that I think it is a fantastic set to have.
