Best LeapFrog ice cream cart

Description

The LeapFrog Scoop & Learn Ice Cream Cart won Bronze for Best Toddler Toy at the 2019 Mother&Baby Awards.

This fun ice cream cart toy will help improve your toddler's memory, counting, and creative abilities, as they have to remember the orders, put the ice creams together, and make sure they get the ice cream to all the customers at the cart. They can press the bell when the order is ready and pay at the magic till.

Our mum tester Kelly said: "The cart sings as you push it, which my little one loves. It has a volume control which is nice for parents. The design is clever as the scoop recognises the flavour and will say the colour or the flavour. My two-year-old repeats some of the colours back, helping him learn. It has a lot of different features, and the cards read out different challenges. They are too complex for my little one, but it will continue to challenge him as he grows. It has two storage compartments meaning it can be packed away easily."

Aimed at helping children with their counting skills. The cheeky, chatty till comes to life with fun phrases and educational songs. Encouraging counting and role-play skills, your child can set up their own shop and pretend to scan foods and pay with the coins or shopping card.

Our mum tester Katrina said: "My two-year-old son loves this till, as he plays with it very independently, giving me a bit of free time. He's always been a very fussy eater, so doesn't know all his foods, and this teaches him simple, everyday foods, meaning that when he now sees them in the supermarket, he's got more of an interest (and has even started to eat them!) My son has also learnt new words from the till and actually uses them after he eats something, which is really good to see and hear."
