Testing the Love to Dream Swaddle Up Warm

One of our mum testers commented: "I'd definitely recommend this swaddle to anyone. I was very happy with my large muslins for swaddling as they're so versatile and I was hesitant to purchase any additional swaddles. I'd heard of Love to Dream many times but when I was given it to try, I was completely sold!

The swaddle is very soft and had a lovely quilted texture to the top layer. We liked that the bottom layer was thin so less chances of baby overheating. It's light in colour, so easy to wash and no concerns over the colours running. We liked that the zip could be open from the top and bottom, making it and easy night-time change. The swaddle was very lightweight overall and folded nicely, it doesn’t take much room so perfect for travelling."

Another said: "I was nervous about swaddling for multiple reasons, the safety aspect - worrying I hadn’t done it right or made it too tight or loose, overheating or being too cold and also comfort. My son like to sleep with his arm up so swaddling never seemed right for us. This product gave the best of both worlds, swaddling with freedom! My son took to it really well due to the positioning of the arms. It folds up small so it easy to transport and goes in the washing machine with his clothes so very easy to clean especially with reflux. The twin zip makes nappy changes in the night easier as he mostly stays cosy so doesn’t wake fully."

One mum said: "We first used the swaddle size S when my baby girl was 10 weeks old. She’s on a chunkier size and was already 5kgs so didn’t have much room. She loves to have her arms up when sleeping so this design was perfect and much nicer for the baby vs the traditional swaddles. The swaddle is very soft and it only takes me seconds to get the swaddle on/off. It opens from the top and the bottom with the zip so nappy changes are nice and easy. Baby can't possibly get out of the swaddle so not faffing about having to put her arms/legs back in. Overall it's a great product and it definitely makes swaddling baby easier."

Final thoughts

The Love to Dream Swaddle Up Warm positions your baby in the arms up position which becomes natural to your baby and helps with self-soothing. It also has a triple-layer construction, which features a built-in blanket for warmth and comfort. The Love to Dream Swaddle Up Warm comes in different sizes allowing your child to have them at every stage. The sizes can come up quite small, so they can grow out of them quicker than expected however they are perfect for travelling as they are foldable and can be packed away.
