Testing the product
I am currently pregnant with my first baby, so choosing a supportive pregnancy pillow was new to me, and there are so many different styles on the market, which can be very overwhelming. I tried a few different pillow types throughout this journey for comparison and to work with my body’s growing needs. The C-Shape Full Body Pillow has offered versatility and great support for my whole body, which I think is a top priority while growing your little one.
The C-Shape Full Body Pillow from Pharmedoc was impressive from the start. It arrived in a sealed bag the size of a laptop box, which made me question how this would be supportive for my entire body. Once unpackaged, you let it do its thing, and it really comes to life.
This is a true multipurpose pillow that can be used in so many ways, from pregnancy and beyond. The pillow came with a few images in its packaging of various ways you can use the pillow. This was helpful as I would not have thought of those positions myself. I have been able to use this pillow at night whilst sleeping on my side with back, knees and tummy truly supported, as well as resting in the evening using it as a backrest or alternatively aiding my swollen ankles as a footrest.

The polyfill interior was supportive and firm enough to keep me in position whilst I slept. It adapted and moulded to my ever-growing bump. Sometimes pillow interiors can be very limp and reduce in size quickly, this was not the case for the C-Shape Full Body Pillow. The case was super soft and cosy to snuggle into. It was also so easy to unzip and put in the washing machine with my other day-to-day bits.
This pillow was definitely the biggest one I used during my pregnancy. It really does mean full body as it took up the space of another human being in the bed. I was not keen on the size to begin with, as I did not need that level of support, however, it soon became my firm favourite in the third trimester.
Considering the size of this pillow, the weight of it was manageable to change position and move around the house, depending on where I wanted to use it. At night, having a C-Shape meant you had to use it as a head pillow, and you were very cocooned, which took some getting used to. I loved it, but I can appreciate that style would not suit everyone.
I would like to continue to use this pillow once the baby is here to aid in feeding and support for me. In the long term, the size of the pillow will be challenging to store, so it's not ideal if you have limited space.
The Pharmedoc pillow falls in the mid-price range and I believe is completely fair for the amount of pillow you receive. Its versatility is a key factor to consider when purchasing a pregnancy pillow and its high level of support is worth it without breaking the bank.

Final verdict
Overall, I am so pleased with the C-Shape Full Body pillow as it has aided my sleep and comfort the most in the third trimester. Its flexible design is great to use for different body parts and positions whilst on the sofa and in bed.
It has been really cosy at night, and I have been sleeping great (minus the pee breaks) while the pillow spoons and hugs me. To have one pillow that supports your head, back, tummy and knees is great, and to keep you on your side all night is so important. I am aware not everyone will get on with losing their favourite head pillow, but you can incorporate it if you need to sleep higher up or suffer from heartburn.
I was pleasantly surprised by its light weight considering the size of this item. It was super easy to clean and came out of the washing machine as good as new. If you can overcome where you store such a large pillow when not in use, this is well worth the purchase. I was really pleased with the price for what it offers and will definitely recommend this to my fellow expectant friends.
