Awards

Boori Neat Highchair with 2025 MAB award rosette

Boori Neat Highchair Review won Bronze for Best Highchair in the Mother&Baby Awards 2025. Our five parents tested the product for us ahead of the awards - read their thoughts below!

Testing the Boori Neat Highchair

Our testers gave this highchair a thorough testing. "The build and usability is good quality and comes with the wooden fixtures," said one tester, while another told us that "the instructions to build the highchair are clear and easy to follow". Some did have issues with the strength required to push the wood into the slots, but once it was built, they said that "the design is amazing and very sturdy". It's definitely larger than other highchairs and doesn't fold away, but is perfect as a permanent fixture for your dining area if you have the space.

"My baby really likes this seat and prefers it to the one we were using previously. The tray is a bit lower so that she can have her food in front of her and can reach it properly, which is really helping with her weaning," said a pleased parent. It seems this lower height is a hit - another mum told us: "My child is 12 months old and definitely preferred this highchair, she loves having extra room and being at the same height level as me."

Aesthetics were also a point of high praise for the chair. "It looks like an expensive product and the colour blue I received was beautiful and fit in with the aesthetic of my home," said a happy mum, telling us that she thought "it was a subtle colour and very tasteful". Another parent told us that she found that "the design is very simple and stylish, and the colour is great".

The longevity of using this chair was another important factor for many of our testers. One mother told us: "My child is currently 11 months old using this high chair and she seems to enjoy having her meals in this," confirming that "the straps are adjustable depending on the size of your child". Another mentioned the long-term benefits as an important point to them, telling us that "my child is 10 months, and to me this highchair is great as they will grow with it. I especially appreciate that it can be altered in size as they grow".

Comfort was a little more divisive. "I feel that this chair could be made more comfortable for the child as there is no padding in the seat, however, you can get this at an extra cost," said one parent. An insert is available for purchase for the chair, with another mum telling us "I would certainly recommend this high chair to other parents, however, I would advise them to buy the insert for the chair to make it more comfortable". It sounds like it might be worth the extra expense if your little one is going to be using the chair regularly.

Final verdict

"I think this makes for a very good investment piece as it will be used for many years," summed up one mum. Overall, it seems like the Boori Neat is a solid pick for anyone looking for a permanent fixture in their home that provides durability and a good height for their child.
