Testing the Joyto Bamboo Bundle Bowl and Lion Plate and two spoons

Awarded Gold in our Mother&Baby 2023 Awards, it came as no surprise that this weaning bundle was a hit with our parent testers. "The Joyto bamboo Lion plate and bowl set is such a lovely, fun design," said mum tester Rachel, "we couldn’t wait to start using it. Both plate and bowl are a great size and very easy to wash. The suction is amazing on both the plate and bowl, which makes it very hard for my little girl to remove, which is a huge plus."

Mum tester Holly also agreed that the suction feature was great during mealtimes with her baby: "I love the cute design and the suction bases are great, they stick really well to prevent baby from pulling them off the highchair," she said. "I really love the silicon spoons too, they are quite big and great for helping baby to feed themselves with."

Other positives that regularly came up with our parent testers was how easy they found these products to wash, the variety of colours the set came in and that the bowl and plate were a great size. However, saying that, many of our mums were slightly disappointed that these products couldn't be put in the dishwasher. "I found the products easy to wash, but it would be more convenient if they were able to be put into the microwave or dishwasher," said mum tester Eliana. "The products feel very sturdy and good quality, and we haven't had any breakages, even though my baby has been pretty rough with them."

When asked how the Joyto bundle compared to other weaning sets currently on the market the feedback was positive. Many of our mum testers thought the Joyto set was of a higher quality and despite being a little more expensive, they would happily pay for it because of this. They also loved how well the items stuck down to tables/high chairs, preventing mess on the floor, and that the set helped encourage self-feeding.

Final thoughts

The Joyto bamboo bundle bowl and lion plate with two spoons is a lovely little set to help your baby on their weaning and feeding journey.
