Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

The Rainforest Friends Take-Along Swing & Seat is built for comfort for my little one. He fits snuggly in the seat and seems to feel secure in there. The idea that it can fold in half makes it easier for storage but also making it portable when we go to friends’ or relatives’ houses who do not have anything for my little boy.  The Swing & Seat is very easy to use as the buttons on the side are clearly labelled with pictures depicting what they do; the 6 speed setting is good as it can be adjusted to each individual baby. It can be easily cleaned if need be as the seat cover comes off and the frame can be easily wiped down.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It occupies my little boy while I can get on with some chores, the music or nature sounds seem to calm him and he loves the movement of the swing. Even when the swing is not in motion, it is good for him to sit in while we sing nursery rhymes or read a book.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The one thing I would change is the design of the top of the swing. The swing doesn’t lay back too far so trying to get my little boy in and out can be tricky as you have to be careful not to hit their head on the bar across the top where the buttons are. Another way to get around this might be to be able to recline the seat once there is no movement or to be able to move the top part away.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

It was easy to put together and felt secure and robust for the baby. It is very easy to use and my baby liked the swinging motion.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

Because the chair has a good four point harness I felt comfortable that baby was safe in there so I could leave him in the chair whilst I did some chores.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

It was fairly easy to assemble although I did need to go out and buy batteries for it. I think the design would appeal to the baby with its bright colours but for me it looked a little dated versus some more stylish rockers/swings out there. I also think the harness straps were a little poor quality versus the rest of the item.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I like the way the swing folds in half pretty much it makes it easy to store and keep the house looking tidy. It also makes it easy to transport as my friends don't have children so they don't have anything for my little one to play with. The design is great and I love the different speeds of swing.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It makes it easier to send my little one to sleep if I’m struggling she sits quite comfortably in the chair with her dummy and chills out which is great for me.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I don't think I would, it has a great design, bold and bright colours for me and my little one to look at and it is great!

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow parent?

This swing folds up really easily and can slide alongside our sofa so it is out of the way. Then when we need it, it goes up really easy. I found transporting it very easy as it slides in behind the passenger seat. The design is brilliant, it is nice and bright and the Lion and Elephant are in hanging reach for my little one.

How does this product make your life easier as a dad?

It keeps my little one occupied while I can get on with work. It has also helped to rock him off to sleep a few times, giving my arms a rest. The music is great, I love the rainforest sounds and it seems to relax my little one.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I wouldn't, I think this is brilliant and would recommend it to anyone and everyone and I think the price is reasonable as it does have a lot of features.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

It helped with settling my little girl when she was getting worked up, and came in handy when my partner was away. It gave my arms a rest from manually rocking my child.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It kept her entertained and was an alternative measure for calming her down.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I did struggle with getting her in and out of the seat, so possible a way for better access.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I adore this swing seat, it really does help to soothe my baby and has a great colourful design. I did struggle sometimes with getting them in and out but it really is a great product.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It keeps them occupied for a while so I can get on with household chores and sometimes even sends my baby off to sleep.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I think it would be good if the seat would have a function where you can adjust the back of the seat into a more upright position as once baby is sitting up that's all they want to do!!
