What they say:

“The 5-in-1 Deluxe Ride & Relax® Recliner Trike grows with your child. The design makes this trike perfect for learning how to ride, steer and pedal. Enjoy going for walks either pushing, guiding or just walking along whilst your child pedals. The Perfect Fit technology allows the seat to be moved up and down, allowing maximum comfort and support for your child as they grow. Not only does the seat adjust in three positions, but it reclines fully for your child to take a comfortable nap! It's perfect for strolls with your little one from Spring well into the Summer.”

Would you recommend the Ride and Relax Trike to other mums?

Yes I would recommend the Ride and Relax Trike to another mum. It is very easy to assemble for starters. It is also easy to move through the different stages of the trike as the child grows which is handy. It is very easy to use and manoeuvres very well. It is also easy to put in the car as the pole comes off easily. And easy to keep clean as the covers can be removed to be washed.

How did this product make your life easier?

This Ride and Relax Trike will make my life easier as a mum in many ways. One it's a quicker way to transport children rather than the bulky pram, convenient for school runs. Another it's handy as it had a snack/drink tray at the front for the children which is nice and also has a drink and accessories holder for the parents too. Plus it is very easy to steer and can be done one handed so good for parents of more than one child, and the reclining seat is handy for when then fall asleep.

What changes would you make to this product?

There is not much that could be changed for this product as I love almost everything about it. I would however maybe give less movement on the steering pole when turning as I felt it turned a little too far when doing corners (and a lot further than the handlebars themselves turned), but otherwise I think this product is amazing and needs no changes.

Would you recommend the Ride and Relax Trike to other mums?

I would recommend the Ride and Relax Trike because it is a delight to use. It was easy to put together and I found the instructions perfectly clear. It is light to push and easy to steer. I have been taking my three year old to play school holding my hand, with my 12 week old in a baby sling and my 18 month old enjoying the journey in the trike. Most of the journey I am pushing the trike one handed and it is more than manageable. My little girl loves it - her smile says it all!

How did this product make your life easier?

I am so impressed that I've swapped my pushchair for the Ride and Relax Trike! The trike takes up less room in the house and is ideal for popping out to the shops or doing the play school run as well as days out. My bulky buggy now stays in the car! The parent tray is so handy for popping my keys and other bits in, and if my little one gets tired the seat can be reclined. I love that it can be used from 9 months to 3 years, a lot of use and a lot of fun.

Would you choose this product to win?

I initially had an issue with the stiffness of the wheels on the trike, but I called Little Tikes and there were more than helpful, the customer services team were fantastic and the issue was resolved. I am impressed with the quality and the sturdiness of the trike, I like that the hood on the trike can be manoeuvred to protect from the sun, and the parent tray is such a good idea.

What changes would you make to this product?

If I could change one thing about the trike, it would be to include a rain cover. It's a little bit of a disappointment that it doesn't have one. I would like to be able to use the trike come rain or shine, and it would be handy to have a rain cover on days out incase you get caught out in the rain.

Would you recommend the Ride and Relax Trike to other mums?

I would recommend the Ride and Relax Trike to fellow mums/friends because of the design. I love how it can be used for smaller children for when they are restless in their pram/stroller, being able to see makes a lot of difference to them and less tantrums! I also love how it adapts to the child as it grows. My niece was struggling to pedal a 'big girl bike' but managed this perfectly after a little while.

How did this product make your life easier?

It makes life so much easier as there are less tantrums than going in the pram! Being able to see the street and the people in the street made it a better experience and less tantrums! Also for teaching how to ride a bigger bike it was so much easier as my daughter and niece were able to grasp the concept of pedalling and this was the perfect size for her.

Would you choose this product to win?

The Ride and Relax Trike grows with your child so lasts a lot longer than most toys. The interest in the product isn't lost unlike with some toys. I also love the confidence my daughter had whilst on this product. Definitely good value for money and a good quality product.

What changes would you make to this product?

One thing I would change about this product would be the colour. It's a great unisex colour but would be nice to have the choice of colour to make it more appealing to a child. But that is a minor thing and has no relevance to the performance of the product.
