Tested by Emily Stavri, 32, from Wiltshire, mum to Bertie, six months. She says: ‘Bertie’s attention span is quite short, so we need a baby gym with lots of variety to stimulate him and hold his interest.

‘This cleverly and easily converts from lie-flat mode to a sitting position. But the upright setting is too reclined for a six-month-old baby – Bertie wants to sit completely upright now.

‘It’s better suited to younger babies. There isn’t a huge number of features to keep babies entertained for the price.’
