Testing Tidy Tot Silicone Plate & Pots

This mum tester said: "Yes, the Tidy Tot has a really good quality, it's BPA free, safe in dishwasher and microwave. I wasn't sure about the small pots but they are great for yogurts or any other liquid. The plate sticks to a high chair and even my toddler is not able to remove it. The design is nice, it's friendly for children. It's easy to clean."

On whether they'd recommend this product this parent said; "We would definitely recommend Tidy Tot Silicone Plate & Pots to a friend or fellow parent! The suction on the bottom of the plate is brilliant and because it is attached to the plate itself, it doesn’t come off the highchair no matter how much my little one tried! The mini pots that sit inside the plate were brilliant for separating yoghurt and dips and also for putting small fruit in so was a really great addition to the plate that I didn’t know I needed. I have also used the pots when I’ve packed food for outings too so they’re very handy. The design itself is very cute, particularly how the eyes continue onto the pots to that it always looks like an owl, my little boy often made the owl sound when I put his place down which definitely indicated he liked it too!

"I like that it has a suction cup at the bottom of the plate to make sure it clings to any surface as I have an 18 month old son who likes to tip his food over! It feels really good quality and it's super easy to wash so it's always ready for the next meal. I like that it's big enough that the plate will still be used when my son is a little older. There's plenty of room to let food cool down before eating."

Commenting on the design of the plates, this tester said: "The silicone is excellent - it’s really hard for my daughter to throw it off the high chair, but I can release it easily. The fox design is really cute, and I like the fact I can use the dishes in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. The little lidded pots offer great flexibility for being on the go.

"The fact it’s dishwasher safe means easy cleaning. Also, the adaptability of the plate is useful - sometimes my little one benefits from an unsectioned plate whereas sometimes it’s useful to divide food items. My daughter, aged 18 months, loves the design which makes her more engaged and excited for meal times. I have used the product many times at home and travelled with it too, which it’s ideal for as it’s so lightweight.

"My toddler doesn't always finish her dinner so I'm always storing her leftovers and I love the fact that I'm saving dishes to wash as I can reheat food in the microwave and oven in the very same plate! Makes dinner time very quick. It sticks really well onto her highchair and out dinner table. I also take the small pots with lids out with me for snacks as they fit really well in my bag."

Final thoughts

The Tidy Silicone Plate & Pots are designed to make children's eating experience enjoyable and parents' clean up process quick and easy. The pots are dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven safe so all meal options are possible with this product.

The only areas of improvement for this product would be to maybe add a lid so any food that's not finished can be kept easily for leftovers.
