At a glance:

Part of Lidl's new and improved Lupilu range which includes everything from award-winning nappies to organic food pouches, these butternut squash, apple, carrot and prune pouches are suitable from four-months-old. These handy resealable pouches are 100% organic, made with only fruit and vegetables and no added sugar and are perfect for weaning babies at mealtimes or as a snack for toddlers.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Fay: I would recommend these as they are a great price. They are delicious, my daughter loved them and with all organic ingredients, this is a bonus. It is one of their five-a-day which is a must for all mums.

Barbara: Yes I would recommend these. The price is amazing. They are very affordable when compared to other organic baby food pouches on the market. The two fruits and two vegetable combination goes down very well with my little one and it is unique as I have not found the same with any other brand on the market.

Jennifer: Yes I definitely would recommend this product. Very cheap compared to other similar products. Easy to use, robust packaging and can be easily resealed. Taste is nice and the ingredients are good quality.

How did this product make your life easier?

Jennifer: This product makes life very easy. They are a healthy organic mix of ready-made fruit/vegetables which can be easily used at home or when out and about. The packaging is robust but easy to open and to use. My daughter enjoyed the taste and nice smooth consistency. Minimal mess and can be resealed and stored in the fridge if not used all in one go.

Sophie: My baby loves these and I'm always pleased to know that he is getting some fruit and vegetables. They are easy to take out without worrying about keeping them chilled. Now my baby is older, he eats it straight from the packet which reduces the mess! I like the price as some competitors charge double.

Fabienne: The pouches are lightweight, while also containing more of the minerals, because of how they are packed compared to jars. This is a really good cost effective product.

Would you choose this product to win?

Abby: For the price, these pouches are a bargain. Not only are they certified organic but they are also gluten/dairy-free, with no added sugar and salt. They are a great way of getting fruit and vitamins into my fussy eater, a handy snack on the go or a cool snack straight from the fridge (especially in hot weather).

Barbara: The one thing that stands out about this product is the price. It has great ingredients, great packaging and a great taste but at a fraction of the cost than others on the market.

Fay: I would choose this product for its ease of use, you can just unscrew the cap and you're away. The taste is delicious, it contains one of their five-a-day, has all organic ingredients and it is a reasonable price.

What changes would you make to this product?

Abby: It would be good if they could find a way to change the packaging so it is not made from single-use plastic.

Fabienne:  If I could change one thing it would be the sweetness as my child did not like it. The packaging is rather dull compared to others on the market and this might make it easily overlooked.

Jennifer: If I could change one thing, it would be to make it more widely available. I do not have a Lidl locally so would be unable to buy this product.
