The ALDI Mamia Organic Sweetcorn Rings won Silver for Best Feeding Product for Weaning in the Mother&Baby Awards 2025. Read below to find out what our eight parent testers thought when they tried this snack with their little ones!
Testing the ALDI Mamia Organic Sweetcorn Rings

Flavour is incredibly important to a snack like this - it's no use having tonnes of organic ingredients if the kids won't eat them! "We introduced the Sweetcorn Ring Snack to our 9-month-old during snack time, letting them pick up the rings independently to encourage self-feeding. The size and shape made it easy for them to grasp, and we loved that it quickly dissolved in their mouth, making it safe and enjoyable," revealed a pleased parent. Another mum actually confessed to us that "I actually tasted them myself and they were nice too!" She also told us: "My son does get bored of food quite quickly, but he actually kept going back for more of these and seemed to really enjoy them so they definitely got a thumbs up from him."
Little ones will be able to feed themselves here too, as multiple testers told us that "the ring shape is ideal for tiny hands, promoting self-feeding and fine motor skills". Another satisfied mum told us that "the product was easy for my 9 month old baby (and also the 3 year old) to hold in their hands and to eat. She enjoyed holding one in each hand in particular and also crunching them up to feel the texture."

"We have tried a different brand of sweetcorn rings and they weren't as good as Mamia's organic sweetcorn rings," revealed one mum, going on to tell us "I honestly can’t believe the price for this rings - super good quality for money". Other parents agreed - it's a stellar price for the high quality ingredients and amount in the bag, with a tester telling us "the packaging was lovely and a good size for the amount of crisps inside. The branding was good and eye-catching without screaming that there were any nasties in there either."
Speaking of the packaging, this also appealed to our testing team. "The packaging was lovely and a nice colour, the green really made it stand out as being healthy and full of good things for your little one," stated a pleased parent, also happily telling us "the actual size of the products being on the front of the packaging is also a nice touch". She also praised how easy the packet was to open, adding that her "toddler also approved of this element!"
Final verdict
Overall, parents loved this snack, especially for the price! A mum called it "a great product for my weaning baby", with another telling us "I don't know if this product comes in different flavours but if it does, we'd probably buy those too for variety!" It sounds like an absolute hit, and is definitely a good addition to the snack cupboard for a quick feed for your little one. Consider a trip to ALDI to grab some for yourself!
