How did the Baby Jogger City Tour 2 make your life easier?

Haylee: The City Stroller makes my life easier as a Mum by being extremely easy to open and close. I have even been able to do this one-handed while holding my little girl which is very helpful. It is also small and compact when folded down so it can easily be tucked behind the seat of the car if the boot is full, and easy to store at home in the cupboard under the stairs It's a very lightweight stroller which makes quick trips to the shop much easier than with a full travel system. My little girl wants to be in and out of the stroller every 5 minutes so the quick release straps are very handy.

Chloe: The compact nature of the buggy does definitely make my life easier. I usually keep an umbrella style buggy in the car for days out/ shopping but I had to lie it diagonally across the boot which made it very difficult to pack shopping bags around it. This buggy takes up so little space and as it folds down into a little square it is much easier to pack around it. It is also extremely light to lift and push which is great for me as I am pregnant with my 3rd baby and I also have a four-year-old whose hand I need to hold while I’m pushing the buggy.

Kirsty: I would definitely recommend this product. It was so easy to set up and use. It is very lightweight and easy to fold down so it was perfect to use on public transport. It is very compact when folded and the carry bag is very useful to help transport the buggy when not in use. As my two-year-old is starting to like to walk more, this buggy worked really well and it was so lightweight I could continue to push it easily while also holding my little boy's hand. It is practically designed and the basket underneath easily held a rucksack and packed lunch. My little boy seemed to enjoy being in it and would happily climb into it. Overall, I would recommend this to a friend.

Would you recommend the Baby Jogger City Tour 2 to other parents?

Sally: I would 100% recommend this pushchair to other mums! My daughter has just turned 3 and loves riding in this when her legs are tired on days out. I wish I had this when my daughter was younger. We have really enjoyed testing this pushchair out. We took it with us on our recent UK holiday to Robin Hood’s bay. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to set up straight out of box. I couldn’t believe how small the box was and I was equally impressed when we saw how compact this pushchair folds up. We had soo much extra boot space on our holiday due to the compact size of this pushchair! I think this would be a great pushchair to travel with on a train or on a plane journey as it comes with a bag and I believe it fits in an overhead locker. The pushchair is so easy to unfold – you undo the clip on the side and just shake it forwards as it pops up and clicks into shape – you can do this one-handed! It is so lightweight. Once opened up the compact size doesn’t compromise on design features – the stylish fabric material is very high quality, the plastic components feel both sturdy and smooth. The hood is large and works brilliantly as a sunshade and rain cover as it comes right down at the front. I really enjoyed pushing this pushchair as the handle is lovely to hold. It goes across the full width and is comfortable to hold on to. When pushing along flat surfaces this is a dream to push, it's so smooth and manoeuvres easily. Unfortunately, due to the compact nature of this pushchair, the wheels are small. This presented a problem when mounting low kerbs and small uneven road surfaces. We found the pushchair coming to an abrupt stop several times when I had anticipated it would manage to go straight over.

Angela: A good, solid buggy. It Folds very small, easily fits in my small boot (BMW 1 series) and only takes up 1/2 the floor of the boot. This means I could take the dog out as well as this buggy. It is easy to open and collapse on your own (I suspect with some practice it could be done with one hand) and when folded up it has a useful carry handle and is light enough to be carried in one hand. It has small wheels but I used it on grass fairly successfully.

Elodie: This is a fab product. It's REALLY compact, really easy to fold and equally easy to put up when you need it. The storage bag which is included is a great idea and helps to keep the boot of the car or wherever it is stored in the house free of mud. I initially found it a bit hard to work out how to recline the seat, but there's a clip which you squeeze meaning the seat can be reclined to whatever level you like rather than the usual set positions as would be the case on most other buggies. This makes it more flexible than most. The harness is easy to fasten and unfasten so it's easy to get the baby/toddler in and out of the buggy. The shopping basket is a good size and therefore useful for holding bags and shopping etc. It's also easy to access. The handle is comfy to hold when pushing the buggy along. It feels sturdy and well-built when in use whereas some small/compact buggies/strollers feel quite rickety and poorly made. This definitely isn't the case with the City Mini 2.

Would you choose the Baby Jogger City Tour 2 above all others on the market?

Haylee: I think I would choose this stroller above others because I feel like it's very well designed for ease and transportability which is exactly what you need from a stroller in my opinion. It's easy to use and unlike some other strollers, it can be pushed one-handed without any trouble. It's the ideal upgrade from a travel system for a toddler. And is excellent for travelling as it's so compact.

Chloe: I think this product should win, it is an extremely good buggy, very easy to push. Despite how compact it is very comfortable for my daughter and you can still fit a few things in the basket underneath, enough for a quick trip to the shops. It really does fold down so small that it takes up next to no room in my hallway and I can easily stash it in a cupboard. It looks nice and despite being such a light buggy the wheels manage pretty well on a number of surfaces.

Kirsty: I would definitely pick this product again because it is so lightweight and easy to use. It was the perfect buggy to use with my little boy and worked especially well now that he is wanting more independence and wants to walk more but still needs a buggy as he gets tired on longer days out. The ease of putting it up and down is definitely a key factor in my wanting to pick the product again.

What changes would you make to this product?

Sally: I really like this pushchair so I have found it difficult to come up with any negative points about it. However, due to its compact size, this pushchair has small rubber wheels. Unfortunately as a result the wheels do not always go up kerbs easily and we got stuck a few times. You really have to tip it back to get up even the smallest of kerbs. In addition to this, the wheels do not deal well with rough terrain resulting in quite a bumpy ride on uneven surfaces due to small wheels. I think if the wheels were larger it would provide a smoother ride on rough terrain but then ultimately that’s the sacrifice people will have to make for such a compact lightweight pushchair. I think it depends on what you need this for. If you need it primarily for its ease of travel and compact size then this negative is worth it. I would recommend this pushchair to families with a child over 6 months who need a small, lightweight pushchair for urban areas and travel. The only other minor thing I found was when reclining the seat and moving it upright is a bit tricky to do sometimes and was quite stiff when it was new. There is also no rain cover included in the box, but you do have the option of purchasing one separately from the manufacturer.

Angela: I would like it if the wheels were slightly bigger to make it easier to use on rougher ground, however, the name suggests it is intended for urban use which it is well designed for. I also think that larger wheels would make it less compact when folded which would defeat the purpose of this stroller.

Elodie: The colour pack is quite light (slate version) so I worry that it will start to look a bit grubby once it's been used for a while. I guess one could purchase a seat liner or footmuff to protect the fabric. It also didn't come with a raincover which I expected it to. It's disappointing that this has to be purchased separately as I think raincovers should be included as standard for buggies/strollers as they're usually buggy-specific and are so often necessary in England!!
