We spoke to these real mum testers to get their review...

How did this product make your life easier?

Gemma Ball says: "Aveeno Goodnight Emollient Balm is incredible, one application before bed and my babies skin is incredibly soft with all dry patches completely gone. Very good for the smaller patches of dry skin round the ankles and wrists on newborns. My daughter has struggled with itchy patches of dry itchy skin on the top of her legs for months, this range has completely got rid of this making my life as a worried mummy completely at ease."

Jennifer Nelson says: "The aveeno baby dermexa range has been brilliant for us, we as a family have all suffered with sensitive skin and in the past have gone through many creams to find one that suits our bodies. We tried the moisturising wash and found it very gentle on our baby and having virtually no scent it was perfect to use. The cream has been a lovely addition to our massage in the evening too."

Alexandria Oguns says: "This product has helped to prevent having to rely on prescribed remedies that have the potential to have long lasting effects. It’s nice to know that there is a product available to purchase in shops. It has helped to have a go-to product for any flare-ups that is still gentle on the skin but gets the job done. Nothing hurts a parent more, than not being able to have a solution to a problem with their child. This product brings such peace of mind as it pertains to my baby’s skin."

Would you recommend this product to other parents?

Zara Perkins says: "I would highly recommend this range to fellow mums. Its hard to find something that works quickly and lasts the whole day especially with dry skin. My children and myself have no more dry skin or discomfort . I usually use a very mild steroid cream behind my little girls legs because they crack and get sore. This will no longer be needed whist using this. Easy to use especially the pump action wash. Smells lovely and fresh without being too overpowering. Keeps my newborn smelling brand new. Does exactly what it says on the packaging. Aveeno never disappoints."

Samantha Pirie says: "I would recommend this product to other parents due to the products convenience with the pump cap for the bath wash, the softness of the everyday moisturiser which is also unscented for delicate skin and helps clear up any irritations on the skin whether it's problems with dry skin or it even helping sooth itching skin caused by heat rash/rubbing clothes you can notice the redness leaving the skin after 20mins, there is also the night time moisturiser which has more of a thicker consistency due to it being more of an anti itch barrier cream for nighttime only when some skin problems cause more discomfort and stress at night which is a lovely idea for parents with babies and children who haven't been able to find a product that brings comfort during the night. All the products from the bath wash, day moisturiser and nighttime moisturiser come unscented/unperfumed but me personally could smell the oats which is not a bad thing just more of a natural scent instead of highly scented products."

Chelsea Reynolds says: "I would recommend this product to fellow mums as it can be very difficult to find a range to suite baby’s sensitive skin that doesn’t dry them out even more, the aveeno baby dermexa range caters for every occasion including bath time which prevent the skin from drying out further. It has really helped my baby and I also use it on myself."

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Gemma Ball says: "yes! 100% for me and my girls this product has changed our lives. I have been spending alot of money on creams and with the aveeno dermaxa range the smallest amount goes along way. Its a long lasting cream and therefore you don't have to keep applying it throughout the day, 1 application in the morning of the Emollient Cream and one application of the Emollient Balm at night time. Most definatly a worthy winner of the award! There is absolutely nothing I do not like about this range."

Jennifer Nelson says: "I would chose this product because it doesn't contain anything harmful to the skin and especially targets people who suffer with eczema and in our household we do suffer. Finding a product that works for eczema can be difficult, for me this range works and has left my baby's skin feeling wonderful. The moisturising wash really did leave skin feeling softer."

What changes would you make to this product?

Zara Perkins says: "The only think I would change would be the boxes that the bottles from this range come in. The cardboard either needs to be firmer and stiffer or some form of seal needs to be on it at the ends so they don't open so easy. The actual products themselves are perfect and does exactly as they say on the bottle."

Samantha Pirie says: "My suggestions would be to maybe colour co-ordinate the boxes/bottles for example maybe a lilac coloured band on the box for a nighttime product and leave the baby blue for day use, possibly and a calming lavender/camomile scent aswell as the unscented version for bedtime creams to add that extra calming effect and possibly a less thicker formula for the nightime moisturiser so its easier to rub into the skin so it is less time consuming before settling baby/child down as it could arouse the bedtime routine by taking alil too long to rub in.Pump lids on all products aswell to help speed up the using time of the product with a twist lock system clearly shown on the pump in a darker colour for extra peace of mind when not in use."

Gemma Ball says: "this product doesn't need improving, I think it is a fantastic range and am very impressed by it, the whole family have been able to use it and we all have very positive things to say about it. The only downside (and literally the only thing I can think of) is that the goodnight balm is not in a bigger tube."
