Testing the CuddleCo Lullaby hypo-allergenic bamboo cot bed mattress

Our parent testers put the CuddleCo Lullaby hypo-allergenic bamboo cot bed mattress to the test and here is what they thought.

Steph said: "My son has really taken to this mattress and it's given him plenty of good nights' sleep! I feel I can put him down easier and feel more at ease knowing he's on a comfortable mattress for the night. I'm also looking forward to testing out the waterproof side as this is really ingenuous for the potty training days!"

Vicky said: "We received the product after choosing a delivery date, and the product was in good condition. The mattress is fairly firm, I would say our previous mattress does seem a little softer to touch We tried it straight away, and our 11-month-old, who likes to sleep face down, has slept well on it (as well as he ever does). The bamboo is good for keeping him relatively cool in hot weather, and I have noticed his mattress has never felt too warm or sweaty even in 30 degree plus temperatures."

Erin said: "My little one sleeps just as well on this mattress as what she did on her previous one so I think she must be happy with it! It fits the cot well and doesn’t have gaps around the top or bottom. The delivery from CuddleCo was great, lovely service and friendly delivery drivers who took the mattress up to my baby’s room for me!"

Adele said: "I can not praise this mattress enough. It is not much more money than the average mattress to buy but was far better. The fact you can remove the cover to wash it and it's reversible, with a waterproof side, is just amazing and so clever. I loved the design and its definitely built to last. It grows with the baby by being reversible and waterproof for potty training meaning its long lasting. I wasn't even aware a product like this existed."

Alanah said: "My daughter falls asleep quite quickly on this mattress, it is firm and doesn’t move out of the bed frame when she rolls about and jumps on the bed! I think the mattress is quite breathable (while still being firm) and moulds into her body shape during the night. It is a thick mattress which lets me know that she will be supported during the night."

Laura said: "This was our first transition from Moses basket mattress to cot bed mattress and my baby slept soundly, and for much longer. I was thrilled with this mattress not a single whine or cry while we transitioned to it! The mattress feels really nice and firm, which my baby seemed to really enjoy. I felt it was substantial and safe, plus I had no reservations using it as it felt like a really well designed product. The fact that he sleeps longer through the night on it is amazing - it can't be a coincidence! I could sing the praises of this mattress all day
