Would you recommend this to other mums?
I would recommend the joie evalite duo because it is easy to fold and open. Relatively light, the seats are comfy and it is a sturdy pushchair that I can see lasting for quite some time. It folds down smaller than I expected and it is easy to push and steer - you can even steer it one handed on flat surfaces!
How has this product made your life easier?
We really liked the joie evalite duo. It has comfortable seats so the children are happy in it for longer periods of time. We can easily manoeuvre this pushchair with both children seated and it is comfortable to push as well. It is also really easy to fold up and down and is quite compact when folded. Despite the small size of the pushchair, it has still got a really handy large basket.
Would you choose this product to win?
I think this pushchair should rank highly, but not quite the top. It is great because if it's easy handling, it's comfortable seating, it's sturdy spacious design and its large storage basket. However, there are several things that make me think that it is not a winning pushchair. The fact that the front seat only has a very slight recline means that it is not suitable from newborn, furthermore, the rear seat has a constant recline which is not how most children enjoy sitting whilst out and about.
What changes would you make to this product?
There is no one thing that I would like to change, there are several. I'd like the middle bar to be curved to create a little extra legroom below it, and for the front seat to recline more. I'd like the rear seat to sit more upright and for the seats to be slightly closer together to make the pushchair smaller. I'd also like the sunshades to be particularly see through at the back so that you can see your children without having to pull the hood back every time.

Would you recommend this to other mums?
This double tandem buggy was easy to put together following the instructions and has been tested with a 2.5-year-old and a 7-month-old. It is very light in weight and easy to fold down and put back up, even for a petite mum. I like the design and the fabric used, which seemed soft and comfortable for the children but also easy to wipe clean. It has a large storage basket underneath which is great to pile up all your gear and shopping. There is a good distance between the two seats so I didn’t feel that the child in the rear seat was too squashed. It is a smooth ride on level ground so perfect for city/town use. However, I am not used to tandem buggies and found it very long to push around (I am used to twin buggies).
How has this product made your life easier?
The mechanism for reclining the rear seat is great – much easier than that on previous buggies that I’ve used and it can really be done with one hand. This makes such a difference, as everything needs to be done with one hand when you have two children! The buggy is really easy to transport when folded up; you can just pull it along on two of the wheels which was a real bonus. It is also very light and easy to get in and out of the car. The rear seat lies almost flat which is great for newborns or if one of your children needs a sleep.
Would you choose this product to win?
I wouldn’t choose this buggy over others, as personally I need a buggy that is a bit more robust and more suited to country/rough terrain. It is, however great as a city stroller. I also prefer twin buggies as opposed to tandem ones as I find them too long to manoeuvre. I also found if you are putting a toddler in the rear seat, you need to lift out the safety bar first, which is easy to do, but I think I would prefer the pushchair if you can just pop your child in and out. There isn’t enough space to just slide their legs in.
What changes would you make to this product?
I would allow more space on the rear seat to enable you to put a toddler in without having to remove the safety bar first. This would save time and effort when getting children in and out. That said, this is only an issue if a toddler is sitting in the rear seat. If it were a newborn or a baby under a year then it’s likely to not be an issue.

Would you recommend this to other mums?
The tandem seats meant that this pushchair was able to fit through the same gaps as a normal pushchair, it was easy to use on paths even when obstacles where in the way. The padded seats where comfortable for both of my twins and I loved the design of the hoods. I was just about able to push this with one hand which was great when one twin wanted to walk. The shopping basket was really easy to access and is so big, often the basket is a disappointment on twin pushchairs but not this one. The pushchair is really good value for money, especially when the back seat can also be used as a travel system.
How has this product made your life easier?
This tandem pushchair was so much easier to fit through doors than our side by side. My twins liked the fact that they could both see despite one being at the back. The shopping basket is enormous which was really helpful when carrying everything needed for a day out with twins. The pushchair is fairly lightweight to push and came with a rain cover. It folds down with ease and is quite compact so it was able to fit into the boot of my car, which saved time when out and about.
Would you choose this product to win?
The affordability of the pushchair really stands out above the rest, it is a fraction of the price of other tandem pushchairs on the market. I felt this pushchair was very long and although generally easy to push, it became harder up and down pavements with my toddlers in it. The back seat reclines and is spacious however my tall girls would soon be outgrowing the front seat as the hood seems lower down. This tandem pushchair wouldn't be suitable for newborn twins as the front seat is from six-months plus.
What changes would you make to this product?
The front seat could be improved so that it reclines further as it stays fairly upright. If the front seat could be used with the joie car seat or fully recline then it would be a fantastic option for newborn twins. It could also be designed so that it would last taller toddlers longer, the hood was almost sat on my girl’s head and this also made the rain cover hard to use.

Would you recommend this to other mums?
For a long pushchair, I found the turning circle really good as it spins on its back wheels so ideal for small shops and doorways. It is nice and light and easy to lift in and out of the car. The automatic lock is handy as you can hear it click into place, quickly pick it up and throw it in the boot. It is long so you need a decent sized boot, but for a double buggy it folds quite compactly. It feels sturdy and I felt in control, but I did need some time to get used to steering it as the length was different to what I am used to. The storage is amazing; it was great to be able to fill the basket with shopping and not worry about the pushchair tipping over.
How has this product made your life easier?
For going shopping and into town, this pushchair makes life a lot easier, especially when moving down narrow shopping isles. Having a one hand fold is also nice and simple although it did take me a while to get used to it and I have to involve my feet too! It is meant to be suitable from birth which would be fantastic however I didn't feel like I would work well for a small baby, as there would be no support for them.
Would you choose this product to win?
It is very light and easy to push and has so much storage. These features make this product really attractive to me and at half the price of a lot of other double buggies, I think it is really good value for money. That said, I felt that the child at the back wouldn't have such a nice view and couldn't really interact with the world. For the reason, I wouldn't choose this type of pushchair. For people in the city who want a double, I can imagine this would be a winner for all those narrow pavement issues.
What changes would you make to this product?
Personally, I am not in favour of having one child sat behind the other from an interaction point of view, but that is a personal preference. The front seat could do with having more of a recline on it. The rear seat has a bar that you have to completely take off to easily access the seat so unless you slide the child in and out, you would need to take off the bar, put it somewhere safe, place the child in and put the bar back on – maybe an attached bar that swivels would help this. I would absolutely want extra padding on the straps as when I was using the pushchair it was a hot day so my children only had strappy tops and the harness didn't have any cushioning. The pushchair definitely needs this if it is meant to be for small children.

I would recommend this pushchair to other fellow mums because it has two spacious, comfortable seats. It is easy to push and steer. I like that it folds quite small as well. That said, I would also have to let fellow mums know that there are also some disappointing features, for example the rear seat does not sit upright and the front seat does not have a proper recline.
How has this product made your life easier?
The Joie Evalite duo is a great pushchair that with some little tweaks, will one day evolve to be the perfect pushchair. There are some great features that help make life as a mum easier. The seats feel comfy as they are well padded. The handle is padded which makes pushing more comfortable for mum, whilst still having a good grip so it is easy to push when wet.
Would you choose this product to win?
I wouldn't choose this over some other tandems on the market, but I still would be happy to use it. I don't like the recline on either seat and I do not like how long the pushchair is. However, you do quickly get used to the length and it does not affect the maneuverability. It is quite light and folds down small.
What changes would you make to this product?
There is definitely more than one thing that I would change. The first would be the recline on both seats – the front seat needs more of a recline and rear needs to have a more upright setting. The second thing I think I’d change would be to have the pushchair made slightly shorter. The third and final thing would be the basket; it needs a divider or some compartments to stop things rolling around whilst moving.
