Tommee Tippee Connected Sleep Trainer Clock at a glance:

The clever sleep trainer clock is a baby sleep aid which shows your little one when it's time to stay in bed and when they can come and wake you by using simple colours and symbols. Simple to understand even when they're too young to be able to tell the time.

You can control everything from a clever app on your phone or manually on the clock itself. You can set alarms for sleep and naps, change sounds and music and even dim the clock face for sleep time, all without getting up off your sofa (or out of bed).

How did this product make your life easier?

Hannah said: "This product is so easy to use, is bright enough to light the room without it being too bright that it wakes the little one. The ability to play both music and white noise is brilliant. White noise is a life saver for helping settle both my boys and the ability to have just one device that does both sleep trainer clock and white noise/light is great."

Shelby said: "I would recommend the Tommee Tippee Connected Sleep Trainer Clock because I have found it easy to use and have been really pleased with how it has helped us at bedtime. It has a nice compact design that doesn’t take up much room and I loved how the colours can be changed for sleep, wake and nap times. My 3-year-old loved this feature too and enjoyed picking the colours he wanted for each setting. It's such a handy product that doesn’t only work as a clock, it indicates sleep, wake and nap times, it has an alarm to help wake our little boy up on nursery days and it plays different sounds to help settle him to sleep."

Liz said: "I loved this product as it arrived just in time for a very tricky toddler not understanding the day and night and very early morning! We set it to wake up at a suitable time in the morning and made a big deal out of calling him Mr Bear and singing him to sleep at night. It wasn’t long until my little one knew he had to wait for Mr Bear to wake up!

Would you recommend this to other parents?

Shelby said: "The Tommee Tippee Connected Sleep Trainer Clock has helped us so much at bedtimes. The different colours help my 3-year-old recognise when it is sleep time and settles at night so much better when his clock is on the sleep setting. He chooses a song setting he wants on and will lie and listen to it rather than getting out of bed. The whole clock can be operated via the app, so I can turn the sounds on and off or turn the brightness down without having to go in and disturb him. The colours also help my son to recognise when it’s still nighttime."

Liz said: "Yes I would, I like how you can remotely set it up on your phone and lock it!!! We had a grow clock and my little one would just press the bottom to wake it up at any time!! Love the different colour options and brightness control all done on the ease of your phone. It’s a good size and good quality."

Hannah said: "I would definitely recommend the clock, and have already for its ability to do everything. It also looks great, with a wide range of colours that have made it fun for my boys to use. They have chosen which colour they want at night, and in the morning and know now when it's time to get up, and when it's time to stay in bed."

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Liz said: "Yes I would, the function of locking it is superb, someone has realised a child will press any button they can get their hand on! I like the music function to nice little touch to soothe little ones if they wake, again remotely, so you don’t even have to go in their room! The characters are nice too, and we talk about what we can see."

Hannah said: "I really like that is a gadget that does everything. Previous white noise items we have used haven't had a light feature, so I've had to purchase separate lights. Other night lights have been too bright, whereas this one you can select the brightness level easily, and different colours. Also, other night lights haven't had the ability to play white noise. I like the ability to be able to control the sleep trainer through my phone."

Shelby said: "I would choose this product because I love how the Tommee Tippee Connected Sleep Trainer Clock can be operated by an app on our phones. The app is so easy to use and means I don’t have to disturb my son by going into his bedroom as much. I also love how it is so customisable, making it fun for my son too. He loved picking the colours for each setting and it helped him to understand that each colour means something different. It's so easy to use and has made bedtime so much easier for us."

What changes would you make to this product?

Shelby said: "The only thing I would have changed about this product is the fact sleep mode was only able to be activated on the clock itself and not via the app. However, Tommee Tippee released an update just before writing this review and now sleep mode can also be activated via the app. Therefore, I wouldn't change anything about the Connected Sleep Trainer Clock, I think Tommee Tippee have thought of everything with this product, and we couldn’t be happier with it!"

Hannah said: "I would add a traditional plug, rather than just the USB plug as I have had to buy an additional USB plug convertor to be able to use this in the boy's bedroom. Other than that the product is great and we are really happy with it. It works in helping both my 5-year-old and 2.5-year-old to stay in bed."

Liz said: "The music function could have a mix option, I could only choose one song at a time so it was pretty repetitive so having mixed options would be great, maybe a few more options too. Maybe an option to talk to your child to, like some baby monitors. I would say also the dimmest light is still quite bright but not a big issue."
