When should you put together baby furniture?

Many parents decide to start decorating the nursery in the second trimester. By this point in your pregnancy, you should hopefully have a little more energy compared to your first trimester, so should feel more up to getting everything ready.

It may be a good idea to put together your bubba’s wardrobe and changing table first so you can start organising outfits and changing essentials before they arrive. Of course, your little one won’t be moving into their new room straight away so don’t put too much pressure on yourself to make sure their room is completely finished before they arrive. The cot can definitely wait until after your little one is born.
