Testing Colief's Baby Scalp Oil

Our nine mum testers found Colief's Baby Scalp Oil easy to use and that it did exactly what it says on the bottle, soothing and softening flaky skin conditions on their baby's little heads, such as cradle cap.

"My little one had started to get a bit of a dry scalp at only a few weeks old," said mum tester Stephanie. "The product came in a small bottle, so great for keeping in the changing bag or our nappy caddy at home. The application was smooth and I was able to apply it straight onto my babys head and massage gently as directed. I could smell the rosehip, and it left my baby's head smooth and soft."

Other mum tester, Hannah, was also a fan: "My friend has actually told me about this brand. I use it on my baby after bath time (three times a week) and it's definitely improved his cradle cap, he doesn't have it too bad, but now it's nearly gone. First, I massage it into my hands to warm up the product and then give my son a little bit of a soft head massage after he's been in the bath, a little definitely goes a long way. It smells great too and is good value for money, as you don't need a lot of product. I am very impressed."

Mum tester Libbi says it's been the only product that's actually helped almost clear her baby's cradle cap. "We did try a few other brands before Colief Baby Scalp Oil and nothing worked. After around a weeks use I noticed the cradle cap was disappearing, and it took about two weeks to fully heal. Very impressed."

It was pretty hard for our mum testers to actually find fault with this baby oil. However one thing they did say they'd prefer was a bigger bottle and that they'd prefer the lid to have a pipet so they could control the amount of product coming out.

Final thoughts

If your baby's scalp needs a little TLC Colief's Baby Scalp oil seems to do just the job. Not too pricey, soothing, easy to use and with a sweet smell too, it's safe to say that all of our mum testers were thoroughly pleased with the quality of this product.

"I was very impressed with the product and how easy it was to apply," says Libbi. "It isn’t too greasy to use and smells lovely too. It's good value for money and definitely one of the best products out there. I'd recommend to any new mum struggling with their babies cradle cap."
