Find out what our parent testers thought of Wonderoos Real Easy reusable nappies.

Tested by mum Sally Dudley for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

These Wonderoos Real Easy nappies are gorgeous. They're soft and well-made and the designs are bright and colourful. I like that they're unisex too. They are easy to use and get going with, great for a first time user of real nappies. The popper system works well, I really liked that I could adjust the fitting round the leg as well as round the waist. It's such a great design that there isn't even any need for a fleece liner. I really liked these nappies and would definitely recommend them to a first time user of real nappies. My only concern would be that the initial very liquid baby poos would not be contained. They were fine for my 4 month old but I would be concerned that a particularly explosive or watery one would make it past the one piece system.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

I don't have to put the Wonderoos Real Easy nappies together for storage or explain how to use them to relatives - they're as they say on the label - 'real easy'. They are also very quick drying for a reusable so I would need less of them which means less of spending, so another bonus.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I'm not sure what more you could do, but to make them 'bomb proof' for those initial first few weeks with a new born would be the only thing. I'm not convinced they're quite there on that front. But to be fair, I couldn't trial this so it's only speculation!

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

Wonderoos Real Easy is great for ease of use, its quick to put together, not bits and bobs that get lost or to sort out after a wash. I’d recommend it to a new mum, or a mum new to using cloth nappies, or one who wants a simple solution that all members of the family and childcare providers can use with no nonsense!

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It’s quick to care for. I can grab it from the dryer or washing line and make it ready to go on babies bum in one action. The same happens at the other end, I take off baby and it’s ready to go in the wash, no faffing about. This is the real deal when it comes to stress-free cloth nappies.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I’d make it a little easier to dry the Wonderoos Real Easy, although the hemp was very absorbent the nappy was one of the ones that took longer to dry on the washing line. As well as the flap being time consuming to dry, the microfiber took a while unless it was really sunny or windy, although, it helped if I turned the entire nappy inside out though. I’d maybe have liked the microfibre layer to also flap out of the nappy.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

Would definitely recommend to any mum who wants to move away from disposables.  The Wonderoos Real Easy are just brilliant. With the liners already stitched in, it makes things a lot easier (especially for a novice like me!)  They are brilliant.  I love the designs and how easy they are to use.  I wish I had used them sooner with my little boy but will be using them when my next baby arrives in few weeks!  It took a bit of getting used to in how to use them properly, and I’m still learning but they are so worth it!

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

Knowing that I'm not filling landfills with disposables is good to know.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Wouldn't change a thing, takes a bit of getting used to and I am still learning.  The designs are just too cute and I might go bankrupt!

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

So easy to assemble for use, all-in-one design that folds into itself is super easy to use.  It takes a bit longer to dry after washing due to its materials and being all-in-one.  A really nice print on the outside.  Fairly absorbent had a few leaks in the first few uses but I've put that down to only being washed 3 times before use, since haven't noticed any leaks.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

So easy to assemble for use, the all in one design is fab but takes a little longer to dry than other similar nappies.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Nothing overall a great nappy.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

Great layer-able cloth nappies with lovely prints and great adjustability.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It’s great to have the benefit of additional liners for sleep time, means longer sleeps between changes.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The poppers are hard to fasten accurately on an active toddler, it would be nice to see a velcro option.

These nappies are amazing! They're so bright and colourful! It's really nice to see funky gender neutral baby things that are for everyone. They are really well designed and made and fit very well. We haven't had any leaks and they are very soft and comfortable. They're so easy to clean and haven't faded at all. They dry quickly and can go in a tumble dryer which is fab!

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

They look great and I love the funky bright colours. They fit well and are soft and gentle on my baby's bottom. They don't leak and work really well. I was surprised at how easy they are to clean and they have lasted well and not faded.  They're good value for money and a fantastic alternative to disposable nappies.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Nothing, I think they are brilliant and I wouldn't change anything.

These nappies fit really well around his legs and tummy, avoiding any leaks out of the nappy. The nappies are nice and soft, resulting in a comfortable nappy to wear. The insert is attached to the nappy which is great when going through the wash as they don't get lost.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

These nappies come in a lot of different colourful designs, which my son loves to wear. Most of them are unisex too! They have been absorbent enough to use through the night too!

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

These nappies are quite bulky around the bum, and under clothes.
