The absorbency is top-notch notch and the fit is comfortable for your little one, with plenty of elasticity in the waistband to allow for a snug fit that doesn't chafe. The design is simple but effective, and the price point is no slouch either!

The Pura Eco Nappies won Gold for Best Performance Disposable Nappy or Nappy Range in the Mother&Baby Awards 2025. They're totally free from nasty chemicals and are made with soft, organic cotton, keeping your little one comfy. The wetness indicator is always a bonus, and these nappies are designed with FlashDry technology to reduce rashes and irritation from a wet nappy - check out what our Mother & Baby testers had to say below.

Your baby's delicate skin deserves high-quality materials in their nappies, and the Pura Eco Nappies deliver. "The materials are gentle, and since they’re free of harsh chemicals, they’re great for sensitive skin," said one happy mum, telling us that "they’re as easy to use as any regular nappy, easy to fasten and they don’t make nappy changes any harder than they need to be."

"We didn’t have any problems with her getting sore or leaking, so it seems like the perfect mix of breathability and absorbency," said another pleased parent. Another agreed with the assessment that the nappies did well to avoid soreness, telling us that "the nappies were great, we loved the way they fully soaked up all the wet and did not leave any residue to irritate the skin."

The design also received plenty of praise, offering comfort for the child and a pretty visual to encourage them to sit still for changes. "We instantly loved the feel of these nappies, very soft to touch, with a cute character design. They covered my baby well with a high back," reported one parent. Another mum said that "I was really impressed with the Pura eco nappies, the packaging was environmentally friendly and had a simple but attractive design."

The environmental impact was particularly important to our testers, and we're happy to say that Pura delivered. One mum told us that "the biggest draw is how sustainable they are, made from plant-based materials and much better for the environment compared to regular disposables". Another was pleased to report that "they weren’t too bulky, which is sometimes an issue, especially with the brands that don’t use loads of chemicals to absorb things. We loved them!"

Absorbency was another standout feature. "There was a huge absorbency capacity, which kept my baby fully dry. The nappies successfully lasted all night (12 hours) with no leaks!" said a happy mum. Another pleased parent told us that "they fit well around the waist and the legs with no leaks. My baby appeared comfortable in them at all times."

Final verdict

Overall, the testers were thrilled with the nappies. "The Pura nappies feel light and soft to touch. They are a nice feel on the inside and therefore feel they would be nice on the baby's bottom," said one mum. We'd definitely recommend the nappies if you're looking for a comfortable, eco-friendly option to take care of your little one's bathroom training.
