Testing the Modern Cloth Nappies Pearl Pocket one size all-in-one reusable nappy

Our parent testers put the Modern Cloth Nappies Pearl Pocket one size all-in-one to the test and here is what they thought.

Victoria said: "Enjoyed using these nappies. They are very slim so didn’t look bulky under clothes. Popper fastening were very good as baby couldn’t undo them, also the multi-riser options gave a good fit. The hemp insert was very absorbent although sometimes needed a boost as our son is a heavy wetter. Overall meet the expectations."

Charlotte said: "Absolutely love Modern Cloth Nappy nappies! They’re so easy to use and clean. The designs are really pretty and the nappies are well made! They do take a little long to dry, but it’s easy enough to pop them near the radiator for faster drying time. They fit my little girl really well. They’re super soft and kind to her skin."

Katarzyna said: "I really love the product. When I opened my package and saw the design I fell in love straightaway. They are really absorbent. It was my first time with cloth nappies so I was quite impressed. It also looks quite comfortable on my baby girl. She seems to be happy when wearing these nappies, so I'm also happy."

Priyanka said: "Fantastic nappies. We use a variety of brands and have for a year. These are easy to use and absorbent. They wash well and are still going strong despite being washed several times already - a few times a week for a year. The poppers on them are great for fastening, just as good if not better than velcro. Look gorgeous and comfortable for our little one. I highly recommend these nappies."

Connie said: "First experience using cloth nappies took time getting used to for me as a parent and remembering not to chuck the nappy in bin out of habit. As soon as I got used to the new way of using nappies and using a reusable nappy I found that my son found them very comfortable and was less stroppy when it came to nappy changes. I struggled at first matching the poppers on each side but I soon learned this."

Sian said: "My first time trying reusable nappies and wow – what a product to use. The designs I was given (spots / flowers in a neutral colour) were the cutest. Bottom cuteness overload! I was a bit weary but the nappies came with a lovely note and instructions on what to do before using them and what the washing regime would need to be. I was only given four nappies so I couldn’t use them 100% of the time so decided I would do one day a week so that I could use those four nappies on the same day and then have a day or two to get enough other small stuff together to be able to wash together in a full load. I also joined the Modern Cloth Nappy Facebook page for more tips on using and washing them. The current crisis over electric costs does give me concern about the financial long term benefit of reusables, but there is an obvious eco benefit, and avoids disposables going to landfill."
