How did this product make your life easier?
Elizabeth: The nappy appears good quality. The elasticated waist band means it fits snuggly to my baby. The size appears to be appropriate for her weight. There is a line to determine when the nappy is wet. Using the sample pack we did not have any leakage from the nappy and I was able to use it overnight without having to change it. My child appeared to be comfortable with the nappy in place.
Lucy: These Asda nappies definitely do their job well. They leaked some urine but only when my babe had gone overnight without a nappy change as he hadn’t made a fuss (I’m breastfeeding and co-sleeping). They are easy to put on and the quality feels good and relatively soft. They are the most absorbent supermarket branded nappies that I have found so far, and I’ve tried quite a few. Still not as absorbent as my usual trusty Pampers though! I would quite happily buy these and continue to use though.
Jenette: This brand of nappy is fantastic. I have had no problems when using this nappy at all. It makes my life so much easier as a mum because I can pick up a pack whenever I’m doing my shopping. It makes it easier also because I can buy them online with my shopping. My baby hasn’t had any leaks in these nappies even overnight. This makes my life easier as I’m not constantly changing outfits and doing extra washing.
Would you recommend this to other parents?
Julia: I would recommend these nappies to everyone because they were of great quality, and my baby was happy when wearing them. I also felt that they gave fantastic protection and no leakages, we did not encounter any sore areas and the tabs stuck really well and did not loosen.
Elizabeth: I was really happy with this product. In particular, I liked the fit of the product and felt it was designed for comfort and to prevent leakage. I felt the product was hygienic and did not have any mishaps when using this with my child. I certainly felt the product was value for money. For these reasons I would recommend this product to another mother and would buy it again myself.
Lucy: I would praise their usability, durability and comfort to a fellow mum. Plus they are good value for money. They have a wetness indicator which I pretty much take for granted in a nappy now as it is so useful! The waistline and leg cuffs fit nice around baby’s waist and thighs and didn’t seem too tight. Nappies rash and irritation wasn’t a feature at all.
Would you choose this product above all others on the market?
Leanne: Yes I would choose this nappy again, price wise it is definitely good value for money and does what it says on the pack. It has great absorbency even when left for long periods of time, the adjustable fastenings stay put so it doesn’t move about and cause leaks. The designs are nice on the nappy without been to bright to show under light clothes. The colour indicator is very handy to show when to change the nappy.
Julia: I feel they should win yes because of their comfort, fantastic design and super absorption, they are of really high quality, they do the job at intended.
Jennifer: I personally think that the asda little angel nappies should win, and the main reason for me is the size lines on the nappy to let you know when your baby has outgrown that size. With the ongoing issue with covid-19 us mum's can't get our babies weighed so we cannot tell as easily when our babies should be aiming to go into the next size, however with these 2 simple little lines we can know for sure that baby has outgrown that size.
What changes would you make to this product?
Sophie: I do worry about the environmental cost of using disposable nappies. I saw on their packaging that Asda strive to reduce plastic use, and I think anything extra that they can do to reduce waste and make the nappies biodegradable or more environmentally friendly would be a real plus for me as a consumer.
Leanne: The only thing I would change about the nappies is they wasn’t very good at masking urine smell after they had been on overnight, but this is been really picky as everything else was great. But some other brands don’t smell at all. Also if the nappies were eco friendly this could be a great advantage as so many nappies contribute to landfill each year.
Lucy: As I’m comparing these nappies to my gold standard Pampers brand, the main difference for me was the feel wasn’t quite as soft, and ever so slightly more of a ‘plasticky’ feel. They could also be even more absorbent, but couldn’t all nappies. Well done Asda, for me you are the best supermarket brand!
