The Positive Birth Company Hypnobirthing Digital Pack won Silver in the Mother&Baby Awards 2025 for Best Pregnancy Product.

This product was tested by several parents for the Mother&Baby awards 2025, who praised the community elements and on-demand nature of the course. The structure of the course was clear, and many of our testers found the short clips were the perfect length, allowing them to "dip in and out of the tutorials" as they needed to.

One tester in particular had glowing praise for the product, saying "the positive messages throughout have made me welcome the idea of birth and I’m almost looking forward to it rather than fearing it."

Our Mother&Baby testers described the experience of the course as "interactive, accessible, inclusive". The log-in system was praised by many for its simplicity, and the flow of the courses was hailed as being logical and easy to follow. The content was described as "a wide range of really useful information" and educated users on "the details of what’s actually happening to our body during the birth", which gave one tester "the confidence and tools to have the most beautiful and positive birth experience".

One mother stated "This was my second pregnancy and birth. I thought I already knew everything I needed to know about the birth. I have done the NCT course with my first baby. I couldn’t be more wrong." Others did state that the content was "more relevant for first-time mums", but "it was definitely still helpful as there were parts in there that I didn’t already know about."

A tester even suggested that this course could be a useful gift for an expecting mum, as "rather than the usual gifts for baby as this is targeted at the mother and creating a positive birth experience for them." The speaker in the videos on offer in particular was described as having "a nice and calming voice", which is definitely a bonus for anxious mothers!

How did this product make your life easier?

Louise: This product really prepared me for the birth of my 3rd child. I felt that the information included was very informative and presented in an easy to understand and supportive way. By using this product, I felt much more positive about the birth and gave me and my partner time together to talk about the birth and what we hoped for

Natalie: The knowledge gained during the course is invaluable. It provides mums, dads, parents the information needed to make informed decisions about their birth. This is not something that is currently done via the NHS, me understanding physiological birth and what your body is doing allowed me to understand and trust my body. It allowed me to feel In control of this birth, which wasn't the case previously. Resulting In a quicker recovery both physically and mentally.

Carlie: The positive Birthing Company Hypnobirthing digital pack was very helpful and useful to prepare me for the birth of my baby. As a first time mum, I found it very useful giving lots of exercises and information and I particularly found the breathing techniques the most useful and was able to practise these which helped me during labour to deliver my beautiful baby boy!

Would you recommend this to other parents?

Chanel: Again, from the design, user ability, quality and the value for money, it’s definitely the best out there. The design really stands out, from any other I have come across. It’s easy for the user to use and access. The quality of the product is fantastic. What you get for your money is amazing too. A lot of other similar products cost a lot more than this course.

Keeley: I would recommend this product to other mums as I feel as though it would benefit them if they are feeling unsure or have any questions about what to expect. It's easily accessible and easy to navigate around as it's all online so you don't need to transport anything around with you, just your phone or laptop.

Rachel: I would recommend it mainly for the breathing techniques it teaches you. I think the way these are taught and the time within the programme to encourage you to practice along with the course leader are very good, especially with face to face courses being few and far between due to COVID restrictions.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Louise: I haven’t used any similar products to this but I would choose to use this product again and would recommend it to others. This is a good price for the amount of information and supporting documents included. This can be used as a programme or individual parts used as required. The information included is really supportive however is presented in a way that provides choice and decision making.

Natalie: Yes, the content is easy to access and understand. You have unlimited access to the information for 12 months so it is never to early to prep and become informed about your options. The value for money is exceptional, I never thought for the price we (my husband and I) would take so much from it. The birthing preferences template was particularly useful and the guided meditation was ideal.

Carlie: I would most definitely choose this product over others on the market as I had heard such good things about it from friends. When I was chosen to try it out for myself I was happy to see they were correct and I was able to use them for my own birth. The one thing that made this product great for me was that I was able to access it in any spare time I had and right up until I have birth giving me all the information I needed.

What changes would you make to this product?

Louise: I would have liked to be able to stream this onto the TV, which would have made viewing for myself and my partner easier. I did try to do this but was not able to hear the sound. Other than that, there is not anything I would change about the product. As mentioned, I think this was a really helpful product that I would recommend to others

Carlie: If I could change one thing about this product it would be the price. Although all the information in the pack is extremely useful and highly recommended by many people to use I feel the price of £39 may be a little pricey for some people. These days you are able to find any information online or YouTube for free so maybe a slightly lower price would suit others if they feel they want more.

Keeley: I would ensure there is a paper copy as well, as some parents may not have access to online resources or technology. This would benefit them as they are then able to read through what hypnobirthing is and what to expect from it and to also see if it's something that may be suited to them as individuals.
