Soothe dry or tight skin with this incredible cooling serum from Lansinoh. It's perfect for using on the baby bump when it's aching, and absorbs nicely into the skin without leaving any greasy residue. We love the natural formula, particularly the menthol - it provides instant relief as well as moisturising the skin, so it feels soft to the touch. It's a great way to treat yourself and do some much-needed self-care, during or after your pregnancy.

Our team of mums had plenty of good things to say about the Lansinoh Cooling Serum, starting with the packaging! "I like the purple tube - it has a white easy-open and close cap which keeps it fresh and hygienic, and the tube makes it easy to store in a bag or in a pocket," said one happy user. Another told us "I really liked the look of the product, nice colour and eye catching while also being discreet as to what it is. It's sleek and eye-catching, and a good size."

In terms of texture, one parent told us "I enjoyed the fact that the serum was easily absorbed without feeling sticky," while another revealed "Its ease of use was handy and feel on the skin was nice as well. The serum itself has a cooling effect and has helped me with my stretch marks immensely. It doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy like other products I tried and dries down quickly". A poor texture can really dampen your experience with a serum like this, so it's good to know it absorbs quickly and without fuss.

"I’ve never used something on my bumps in previous pregnancies and I felt like this is something I wish I had sooner! In the month and a half of using it, I have found it really has helped by making sure my bump is moisturised and helping soothe any tightness of the skin on it," said one pleased mum, proving the serum can be helpful for parents even on their second or third child! Another mother told us "It’s one of the easiest products to use, I did it myself but also got my partner involved!"

Ease of us was a real highlight for many of our other testers too. One revealed that "it is easy to use due to the lid - you can just open the lid and squirt it into the palm of your hands, ready to put onto your dry itchy, tight, stretching skin". Another mum said, "I found the lotion style really easy to use and liked that it has a secure lid... The application was smooth and easy to rub into the skin, as stated on the box it didn’t leave a residue."

The relief provided by the serum really can't be overstated. In their own words, one tester told us: "It instantly soothed my itchiness and it made my skin feel so smooth after too! It has an amazing scent, and since I have sensitive skin the formula is a real bonus!"

Final verdict

Overall, the testers were thrilled with the serum, with one telling us that "the quantity has been plenty to use routinely each evening. The serum is suitable for sensitive skin which is also great." It's a superb, budget-friendly way to make the pregnancy process just that little bit easier - keep it in mind if you're struggling with an achy bump!
