How did this product make your life easier?
Tina said: "It changed my life for my babies because I don't need to worry about their nappies leaking into the pool. The silver lining also helps protect babies with nappy rash. I've had to stop going to the swimming pool due to my child's nappy rash. Now I don't have that concern. It also is very long-lasting reducing waste massively."
Clare said: "I was excited by this product by the amount of different designs. I have a little girl and often find lovely designed clothes, but having had a boy first time round I would have easily found a design I liked for him too. The new silver technology stopping the leaking of germs excites me; however, it only works for my baby if everyone else used one too. It's also so easy to wash after swimming as it can be put in the washing machine."
Ashley said: "The Splash About Happy Nappy Duo is a great product, as the nappies are reusable you will never have that problem where you have ran out of swim nappies when you get to the pool which I have done many times. The nappy is also ideal for holidays so instead of packing lots of nappies you can just take the one item in your suitcase. The fact that the nappies are eco-friendly is great, and a choice I always try to make when buying anything especially for my baby. The splash about happy nappy is the product I never knew I needed.
Would you recommend this to other parents?
Jem said: "I love the potential of this product - the quality of the material is lovely, and the patterns are very cute. If the product fit nicely around my baby’s tummy and thighs, I think it would be such a nice option rather than using a general swimming nappy. I would love to see more sizing options - maybe where you could personalise the size by measurements of the baby’s tummy and thighs. I have never seen/heard this as an option, but it would open the product up to lots more babies."
Tina said: "What excites me about this product is that it is eco friendly. I also enjoyed picking from all the different designs. I loved that I only had to put one item on my baby. It makes it so much easier as I have twin boys. We don't need to take double nappies and swimming costumes to the pool. It really is the most technically arcaded swim nappy in the world."
Clare said: "It changed my life as a parent in terms of reassurance, I know the brand has a great reputation and I've used them before. Although when testing, we didn't have any solid accidents to test the seal, I was confident there would be no leaks as the nappy is tight and sealed. I also feel I'm doing my bit for the environment by not needing to use disposable swim nappies."
Would you choose this product above all others on the market?
Tina said: "I think the Swim About Splash Nappy Duo is different to anything on the market because it is very long lasting compared to other swim nappies. I was very impressed that it is has antibacterial silver ion technology to destroy bacteria and viruses that’s chlorine alone can’t. Also the soothing silver lining."
Clare said: "I've used other happy nappies in the past over disposable or reusable swim nappies and appreciate the reassurance there's going to be no leaks. This product is different because it eliminates the need for the extra swim nappy - it's all in one. It will save money in the long run as I don't need to buy more disposable nappies; it's also one less thing to remember and pack in the swim bag."
Ashley said: "The Splash About Happy Nappy Duo is a great innovative product that I was very excited to test. I have been using disposable swim nappies, which I have always worried about using when in the pool as they do not seem very secure, and an 'accident' in the pool is a mum's worst nightmare. After testing the happy nappy duo, the first thing I noticed in comparison to disposable nappies is that the style and fit are fantastic. There is no worry about anything escaping due to the secure fit, but the nappy has a good stretch, so also not too tight. The product stops and poo or wee escaping, but also now goes one step further, stopping any bacteria being released, which no other products on the market do. Helping to make pools a cleaner and safer place for all users, which in my opinion after testing this product it would be great if all babies wore them in pools!"
What changes would you make to this product?
Ashley said: "The product does exactly what it says - it stops anything escaping. I can vouch for this as I have tried and tested it. It is difficult to find anything that I would want to change. The only thing I can think of and its aesthetic is to have more design options so that the colour on the leg band can be matched to different swimsuits, but that's the only minor thing I would want to change."
Clare said: "The only thing I'd change about the product is a tough question as it's really good. I find the Splash About Happy Nappy DUO so tricky to get my little one in before and after a swim, there is a lot of tugging and pulling, but I know this is what creates the no-leak seal. Overall love the product, already have recommended it to my friends and will probably buy another."
Jem said: "100 per cent the sizing options. It’s not unusual for a baby to be chunky (if anything lots of babies are chunky). This Happy Nappy Duo (whilst a lovely product) is designed for slim babies only, which alienates a lot of the potential market. If I had purchased this product, I would have sent it back. As the material is so snug (which it needs to be to provide security), there is no give to accommodate larger size babies. As I said before, it would be great if you could personalise the product to fit all shapes and sizes, or at least add more options in each age category."
