Testing the Bibado Coverall Weaning Bib

Katie: This product is brilliant! I’d seen the adverts for this but didn’t actually think it would make such a difference to our meal times. This product makes life easier because of how easy it is to clean, and how great it is at keeping my daughter and her clothes clean. It’s super soft, easy to put on – in fact I’ve just started leaving it on the highchair because of how easy it is to clean, I don’t have to wash it after every use. The fastening on the back is really secure and my daughter doesn’t try pulling it off as soon as she’s finished eating like she does with other bibs. I’m spending so much less time cleaning up food off the floor that would normally fall through the gaps or roll down as I get her out of the highchair.

Rhiannon: Using this product saves a lot of time, it's quick and easy to put on and it stops there being so much mess during meal and snack times. Any food dropped on the bibs can be wiped straight off and then the bib can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth or put in the washing machine which saves so much time! No more time wasted trying to pick out every tiny piece of food that gets squished into the crevices of the high chair seat!

Nicola: An absolute game changer! The product is easily the best bib I have used for my children. My son has always been a really messy eater, so a bib like this is really helpful. It ensures that he is not getting covered in food, or soaking wet from his water, and makes the clear up after so much easier. I can simply catch everything in the bib and pop into the bin. Plus the fact that it is machine washable is SO helpful!

Carlene: I love the bibs and would recommend them to other parents I know and I have told a friend about them already. The bibs are easy to store when going out too and fit over different high chairs too. I love the design of them as they are eye-catching and the material has a nice soft feel to them not like the standard plastic ones. I talk with my children about what we can see on them too.

Final verdict

Sarah: I wonder if swapping the velcro straps for stretchy elastic would work just as well whilst also being just a little bit less fiddly to attach (though it's really not an issue at all). I would also like to see a bigger range of designs perhaps just something like a classic striped design or similar rather than such heavy patterns.

Rhiannon: The only way I could think to improve the product, would be to possibly make the neck and arm sizes range slightly more, just so it would not be as tight on an older child (such as a large toddler) and the arms could be slightly shorter and less baggy on younger children (such as 6months up who are petite due to medical issues.

Nicola: If I could change one thing, it would be to have the bib slightly bigger. While it is great how it is, on larger high chair trays it doesn't cover all of it, which leads to more mess. It isn't a necessary change, but one that could help as covering the whole tray would keep all of the mess at bay, and contained to the Bibado.
