The ASDA Little Angels Banana & Mango Corn Cake Hearts won Bronze for Best Toddler (12 months+) Food Range/ Product in the Mother&Baby Awards 2025. These delightful snacks are a great healthy treat for your little one, letting them get the nutrients they need without compromising on taste. Our Mother & Baby testers tried them out with their kids to great success. Read on below to find out what they had to say about them!
Testing

Not only are these snacks appealing for little ones, but the ingredients are top quality. "The colour looks quite natural which is important to me when feeding my child. The list of ingredients is short, which is good and organic, which is a plus!" revealed one pleased tester. Another parent was happy with the brand's honesty, telling us, "it is great that it states the ingredients very clearly, so you definitely know what’s in the product".
Still, that's no good if the kids won't eat them! Luckily, our testers had plenty of praise for the taste too. "My child liked them and ate them entirely. I tried them myself, they have a nice corn flavour with a subtle mango and banana flavour," revealed one mum, telling us that "they taste good but not too sweet, which is great for a child of nearly 18 months". Another parent stated: "We normally go for rice cakes, but this was a welcome change. My little boy loved these snacks. He ate them up very quickly, which shows he must have liked them."

It's a great addition to a snack cupboard for some variety - another parent informed us that they "loved the shape, different to the typical rice cake shape" and reported that "they were very soft and had a good coating of the seasoning". This texture was also highlighted by other pleased mums - a satisfied tester told us: "My little boy had no problems eating the product, he enjoyed the flavours and they were nice and soft which is good whilst he is teething."
"My child is 16 months and they were the perfect size for his hands. He could easily grab them from the bag as well, which is always a bonus with Mr Independent!" said one mum, revealing how great these are for teaching baby-led feeding. A different parent revealed that: "My child really enjoyed the corn cakes! I think he quite liked the heart shape as well, it made it fun and interesting when he ate them". It's always good to get the kids involved in snack time!
Final verdict
Overall, these snacks really impressed, especially for the price. "My baby loved these and so did I," revealed one mum, telling us that "the little heart shapes are super cute and they taste very nice". It's a solid addition to your snack pantry, and we're sure your little one will love it!
