Stylish and functional, both partners enjoy using the bag when out and about, as this tester found, "It looks really premium and great for both male and female users. We love the leather look, and it makes it so much easier to wipe clean." Despite some testers finding that the matching changing mat could be a bit bigger, they all agreed it is "easy to carry, fits the essentials, and attaches to the pram easily." Paired with a magnetic popper opening, one mum particularly likes that "the bag stays open when trying to get things in and out" as they "have had bags that just collapse when opened" in the past.

At 36 weeks pregnant, one mum loved the bag for both her and her daughter - "The product has endured being in the car, on my back, and being taken and put on different floors and chairs, and it’s not got any scratches or marks! It is still spacious after putting in her jacket, two changes of clothes, her snacks, a spare pair of shoes, some soft teddies, and the things I need in there too."

Rated 10/10 on comfort by some of our mums, it is a major plus for the Gigil Luxe (2.0) Changing Backpack, as you won't find anything digging into your back or shoulders. With one of our testers having had pre-existing back problems, they found it lightweight too - "I live in a top floor flat and my child’s other bag always felt so heavy to carry. I always used to leave it in the car and take things I needed for the bag, but this time, I don’t need to. I’m happy to bring this up and down the stairs, as I felt like I didn't even have a bag on my back."

Many baby products, unfortunately, have a restricted lifespan and are outgrown as your little one grows, yet with this bag, testers agreed that you "could easily use it as a regular backpack once no longer needed as a changing bag."

Final thoughts

The Gigil Luxe (2.0) Changing Backpack is multifunctional and spacious. With two interior insulated pockets, four interior compartments and four external pockets, it provides lots of space for all the essentials for you and your baby when out and about. Whilst still having space for the additional accessory of a changing mat.

The bag itself is water resistant, so good for those times when you get caught in the rain, and also has padded adjustable straps, providing comfort when wearing, even when full. But it also comes with pram/buggy clips, allowing you to attach it to your pram handle, giving you options.
