Testing the Joie i-Spin XL
"I would 100% recommend the Joie i-Spin XL to anyone looking for an all in one car seat that will grow with their child," said one tester after using the seat. They found it really easy to install and super simple to use. "Being able to do everything with one handle just makes life easier - I can put my little boy in quickly and every little thing that makes life easier is an added bonus," they stated.
Another happy tester also found this product really easy to use, saying that they have never used an isofix base before and were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to fit. They told us "I particularly liked the fact that the chair displayed a colour panel to show whether the chair was fitted correctly, this ensured that it was secure and safe". They did note that the chair is incredibly heavy, but were on the fence as to whether this is a negative or positive - "does it demonstrate that it is sturdier and therefore safer or is it just a heavy car seat?"
Our next tester was thrilled with the car seat. "My overall impression of the i-Spin XL was a great all rounder car seat! I was pleasantly surprised with how user friendly this was to install, very simple to install with the detailed handbook/instruction guide and the isofix just clicked right in!" they said. They were also thoroughly impressed with the quality of the car seat, as the material was very durable and easy to wipe down for any spillages, which is a huge bonus point with little ones! The variety of colours available were also thought to be a nice touch, as the tester found that these are usually quite limited with other brands. They did admit that "it was quite a lot larger than I expected but I suppose that’s due to the fact that this car seat can be used for a lot more years than others on the market". This car seat features a wide range of reclining options too, which they thought was great for when baby has their naps and for comfort as they get older. It also allows new-borns to lay as flat as possible with the different reclining positions, which is a great feature. Overall, the tester was very impressed with this car seat and for the price, found it to be great value for money.
The next tester was particularly impressed with the look of the car seat. They found that the material was lovely to clean and stated that "it was super comfy for my son to use - the straps are easy to operate and I feel he looked super safe". They loved the fact they could turn the seat whichever way they wanted and it is easy to do. The price did concern them originally, but in the end, they said "you can't put a price on your child's safety".
"The car seat is sturdy, well made, easy to fit and comfortable" said one happy tester, continuing to tell us that "it is really easy to use and the spin makes it good for getting children in and out with ease". The seat reclines which they found helpful if baby needs to nap, and they also noticed that it is well padded, so it's comfortable for children and babies. They were happy with the cost too, stating that it was a good price for the length of time it can be used.
Another tester found that the car seat not only looks such good quality, but feels really sturdy too. The spin feature was really easy for them to use and made it so much easier getting their baby in and out of the car. There were no issues with installation either, thanks to the isofix connections. "It looks really comfy to sit in too," said the happy mum, going on to say that "knowing my baby is in a excellent quality seat with additional side impact connections too gives me peace of mind too".
