Awards

The Joie i-Pivot 360 won Gold for Best Baby/Toddler Car Seat (Stage 1/2) in the Mother&Baby Awards 2025. We love a rotating car seat, and the i-Pivot 360 is smooth and gentle when turning to keep your baby calm. The six levels of reclining tilt are also a huge plus, allowing your little one to nap comfortably as you drive. Don't just take our word for it though! Our Mother&Baby testers used this excellent seat with their own families so they could really put it to the test - read on to find out what they have to say about it.
Testing the Joie i-Pivot 360

The Joie i-Pivot 360 is a stellar addition to any active household, and it really impressed our testers. "The swivel design was brilliant, it was by far the best feature and having now tested a 360 seat I won't be using anything else again," revealed one mum, telling us that "it made it so much easier to get my heavy two-year-old in and out of the car". Another mum told us: "I wouldn’t use a non-360 car seat moving forward. The design is simple and sleek, which I like."
Not only is the swivel design convenient, the seat is also soft and supportive. "My son was very happy in this chair. He looks comfortable, and you can adjust the recline for sleeping easily," revealed a happy parent. A different tester described the i-Pivot as "a lovely looking seat with super soft memory foam material," calling it "delicate on their skin but also light, breathable and extremely comfortable". "The headrest of the carseat provided very good support for my son's head while travelling. He fell asleep in the carseat very quickly, he was obviously comfortable!" praised a pleased mum.
"I loved this car seat! I think it is really well designed and very user-friendly. I didn’t need any instructions at all to install it, it was very intuitive and easy to do," claimed one tester. This is really reassuring to hear - you don't need any extra stress with a difficult installation process! Another mum agreed, telling us that "it was easy to install with the Isofix and most actions give a satisfying click to let you know the chair it all set. I especially liked the hooks to get the straps out of the way whilst putting a child into the seat".
This peace of mind is just one of the added benefits that the high safety standards of this seat provide. "There are many features for safety as well as comfort. The most notable is the lay flat position, which is a must in my opinion for a safe young child. This position prevents my son’s head from bobbing about if he nods off during a drive, giving me comfort that he is breathing safely," praised one of our parent testers. Another was particularly happy with the simplicity of the design when compared to other brands, saying, "I liked the handy green indicator that showed it was locked in forward or rearward facing mode. I have not seen this feature before on another car seat. The straps were easy to adjust and did not get twisted, which often happens on my other car seats."
Final verdict
Overall, this seat was a real hit with our testing team. "The 360 feature is smooth and makes a big difference with getting my child in and out of the car with ease," said one mum when commenting on the positives of the design, while another highlighted that "the seat felt sturdy and I felt confident that my baby was safe in it". These reviews prove that the Joie i-Pivot is a worthy winner of the Gold for Best Baby/Toddler Car Seat (Stage 1/2) in the Mother&Baby Awards 2025, and if you're looking for a new car seat, you should definitely keep it in mind.
