We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review...

How did this product make your life easier?

Beth: My little ones recently had a cold and it was great to be able to test this product out for an illness. It worked to clear their nose gently before bed and made the bedtime feed a lot easier when we have had snuffly nose issues which was great. We were able to settle both small children quickly after their bath.

Laura: This product worked brilliantly for my children who both were nasally congested. It was perfect before bedtime as it cleared their sinuses which as a result allowed them to both have a rested night. I used it with my baby and 4 year old so it’s versatile and can be used from birth which means they can both have a bath together.

Lucy: This product makes my life easier as a mum because it bubbles up well, and the bubbles entertain my son in the bath. The product is widely available in Asda stores, so it is generally easy to source. The product is also good value for money, as it is less than a pound a bottle, compared to the more expensive brands.

Would you recommend this product to other parents?

Kiran: I would recommend this product to another mum because it did help my baby when she was unwell with her cold, the product is quite strong so may not suit some babies, but my baby didn't have a problem with the strong vapour and enjoyed her bathtime with it. The bottle is also easy to use in a sleek design.

Joanne: I would recommend this product as it is easy to use, produces bubbles, is good value for money and I like the vapour aspect which means it may help with clearing blocked airways before bedtime. I like that it is 'paediatrican approved', the smell is also pleasant and it is a neat sized bottle making it easy to store.

Katie: It smells really lovely and fresh. It makes the bathroom smell nice but also makes my child smell lovely and clean after having her bath. Our baby is very young with delicate skin and she has never reacted to this product so it must be very gentle. It is nice to have bubbles in the bath to play with too.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Kasia: The menthol aroma is great. It helped when my son was full of cold. I enjoy this in my bath as well, it helps me to relax before bed and does not irritate my skin (I tend to have an allergic reaction to the fregranced products). It is very good value for money.

Sophie: I would choose this product over others, I think it stands out for value in the first instance because it produces good bubbles and lasts a long time. Though because I don’t think it actually helps unblock noses I wouldn’t recommend it to help do this, but I personally can’t see any bubble bath being able to actually do this. As a bubble bath for babies it’s great! My baby occasionally has dry skin and this didn’t do anything to irritate it.

Beth: I would simply choose this because the price is so good for what you get in comparison from other brands. Just like all of the Little Angels range it is such good value and easy to pick up in your grocery shop. Their whole range is great for baby skin and bath and hair. Would recommend above others and will definitely buy again.

What changes would you make to this product?

Laura: I would personally change the strength of the scent. I feel like it could be stronger and that I needed to add more than I should have to get the scent nice and strong. I think maybe if it was stronger then it would have been even more effective for the the congestion my children had.

Kiran: I would make the product with a stronger vapour. The main purpose of the product is to help clear blocked noses, but I felt that the vapour was not strong enough to actually make a difference to a child, unless it was say a newborn who only needed a very mild vapour. If the vapour was stronger I think this would be a very successful product.

Joanne: The branding does not seem to stand out very well. The writing on the front of the bottle is very small. I do not feel this product would stand out very well on a supermarket shelf. I also feel the feature which I liked most, the 'vapour effect' was not as clearly advertised on the bottle and I think I may miss this when looking at all products in a supermarket.
